No. 4 Florida State Baseball (24–4) returned to Howser in dramatic fashion Tuesday night, rallying from two separate deficits to take down Jacksonville 11–10 — their sixth straight win in the in-state series.
💣 Williams Keeps Mashing
Max Williams did it again. The junior center fielder launched two home runs — his second multi-homer game of the season — bringing his total to 14 on the year (tied for second in the nation). He finished with 2 hits, 3 RBI, and 2 runs.
📈 Stat Leaders:
Alex Lodise: 2 hits, 3 RBI (now leads the nation with 56 hits)
James Hankerson Jr.: HR in 2nd straight start
Myles Bailey: Team-best 3 hits + RBI
💥 How It Happened:
JU jumped out to a 5–0 lead in the 1st inning
FSU stormed back with 6 runs across the 1st and 2nd to take the lead
After JU briefly reclaimed a 7–6 lead, the Noles flipped it again with a 3-run 4th inning blitz
Two more insurance runs in the 7th (thanks to Lodise) proved to be the difference
🎯 Clutch Arms:
Maison Martinez & Joe Charles worked out of jams in the middle innings
Ben Barrett entered with the tying run on second in the 9th and delivered a strikeout to seal the game (his 2nd save)
📍 Up Next: A massive top-20 ACC showdown: FSU hosts Wake Forest for a three-game set (Friday–Sunday). First pitch Friday is 8 PM on ACC Network.

Micahi Danzy is making history.
The Tallahassee native became just the second Seminole ever to earn ACC Men’s Rookie of the Week honors in both indoor and outdoor track seasons. 🏃♂️💨
🔥 What earned it: • 🥇 1st in 400m (46.03) at the Terry Long FSU Relays — his first career win
• 🏅 2nd in 4x400m relay (3:10.40)
• ⏱️ His 400m time ranks 2nd in the ACC and 10th nationally — one of only three freshmen in the top 10
🗣️ “He shows what you can do when you dedicate yourself, make sacrifices, and have elite focus,” said Coach Rick Argro.

Two of Florida State’s brightest stars are back on golf’s biggest amateur stage. No. 1-ranked Lottie Woad and No. 3-ranked Mirabel Ting are set to tee it up at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur, which begins Wednesday.
🏆 Woad is the defending champ after her electric finish in 2024, and Ting finished 8th in last year’s field. This year, they’re aiming to make history — no player has ever repeated, and no school has ever had two different ANWA champs.
📍 72 of the world’s top amateurs will compete over three rounds, with the final round at Augusta National on April 5.
🎙️ Coach Amy Bond: “Both have a legitimate shot to win.”

Florida State men’s basketball hosted 6’9” forward Isaac Garrett from Snow College (UT) for a multi-day visit this week — and the Seminoles left a strong impression.
🎙️ “I’m 99% sure I want to go to FSU,” Garrett told Noles247. “Coach Loucks sees me as a skilled big who can pass, score, and lead in the locker room… I’d love to be part of what they’re building.”
📊 Garrett averaged 14.0 PPG, 7.0 RPG, 2.9 APG, and helped lead Snow College to a 32–2 season. He’s expected to take another visit before deciding in mid-April.
🎯 Top-30 TE Landen Miree Recaps FSU Visit
Florida State hosted 2026 3⭐️ tight end Landen Miree (Princeton HS, Ohio) for his first-ever visit — and the Seminoles made a strong impression.
🗣️ “It was one of the top visits… Coach Norvell laid it out straight. He wants me and I check all the boxes.”
Miree praised the intensity of spring practice, TE coach Chris Thomsen’s energy, and the love from current players. He’ll return to Tallahassee for an official visit this summer.
📊 As a junior: 56 catches, 714 yards, 10 TDs. A true matchup problem — and he knows it.

Florida State continued building out its 2027 class on Tuesday with a commitment from Fort Lauderdale cornerback Bryce Williams — who made the pledge during a visit with Mike Norvell in his office.
🗣️ “FSU is the right place because of the great relationship I have with the coaches… I trust him,” Williams said of Norvell.
At 6’2”, Williams brings elite size and strong bloodlines — with family ties to Patrick Surtain Sr., Tony White, and Devin Rispress. He’s already landed offers from Miami, USC, Colorado, and more.
📈 Williams joins a fast-growing DB class that includes Jaylen Scott and Mekhi Williams.
🏃♂️ Top-100 RB Carsyn Baker Kicks Off FSU Visit
One of Georgia’s top playmakers was in Tallahassee this week as 2026 four-star RB Carsyn Baker began his multi-day visit with Florida State. It was his first time on campus — and it made a strong first impression.
⚡ “The energy that Coach Norvell had stood out right away,” Baker said. “Coach YAC made me feel like part of the room already.”
The 6’1”, 195-pound back has FSU in his top four along with Ohio State, Clemson, and Texas A&M, and already has an official visit locked in for June 6.
🗣️ “Coach Norvell is one of the realest coaches you can meet… and Coach Gus likes to run the football. I could definitely see myself in that offense.”
Baker is ranked the No. 14 RB in the country and No. 175 overall in the 2026 class (247 Composite).
And that’s a wrap!
