FSU improved to a 38-10 record, having won 20 of their last 21 games. The team's dynamic performance was on full display Friday night at the Seminole Softball Complex, showcasing their depth and resilience.

The game ignited with a high-scoring first inning. After UNC took an early lead, FSU quickly turned the tables. Key hits by Kaley Mudge and Kalei Harding, combined with a fielding error by UNC, helped the Seminoles to a 5-2 lead. Jahni Kerr's seventh home run of the season capped off the inning.
