Florida State Womenโs Basketball set a new program record with 10 All-ACC Academic Team selections โ the most in the conference! ๐
Highlights:
O'Mariah Gordon and Makayla Timpson graduate with four career All-ACC Academic honors each.
Both Gordon and Timpson, along with Amaya Bonner and Carla Viegas, were named Academic All-District.
Avery Treadwell captured her second All-ACC Academic honor โ and sheโs a three-time Presidentโs List standout.
Quick Reminder:
To make the All-ACC Academic Team, players must have at least a 3.0 GPA and compete in at least 50% of games.

Florida State Menโs Tennis is back in the NCAA Tournament for the 26th time in program history!
The Setup:
FSU travels to Columbia, S.C., for the first and second rounds starting Friday, May 2.
Seminoles face Southern Conference champion Samford in Round 1.
Winners advance to meet either No. 13 South Carolina or VCU in Round 2.
Quick Hits:
Finished regular season 18-8, including a perfect 7-0 at home in ACC play.
Reached the ACC Championship semifinals before falling to No. 5 Stanford.
Itโs FSUโs 21st NCAA appearance under head coach Dwayne Hultquist.

Luke Clanton (Menโs Golf) and Audrey Koenig (Volleyball) were named FSUโs Most Valuable Male and Female Student-Athletes for the 2024โ25 academic year at the 31st Annual Golden Nole Awards! โจ
Highlights:
Clanton: No. 1 ranked amateur golfer in the world, six career titles, second all-time in FSU scoring average.
Koenig: 2024 ACC Player of the Year, led FSU Volleyball to its first ACC Championship since 2012.
More Honors:
23 Golden Nole awards presented across 21 teams, recognizing standout student-athletes in competition, the classroom, and the community.
ACC Top Six for Service winners included Jaysoni Beachum, Justin Cryer, Maddy Huggins, Kelsey Perry, Azariah Rusher, and Tyson Williams for their impact off the field.

Tennessee DB transfer Jakobe Thomas is set to visit Miami and Florida State this week, his agents @EugeneTLee and @monnier_oscar of @3strandsports tell @mzenitz and I.
Thomas entered the portal as a top 10 available player in the @247Sports rankings.

Tennessee defensive back transfer Jakobe Thomas officially entered the portal Monday โ and heโs quickly becoming one of the most sought-after names this spring.
The Latest:
Thomas, rated 89 in the 247Sports Transfer Rankings, is a Top 10 available player this cycle.
Heโs planning visits to Florida State and Miami later this week, per 3Strand Sports.
Played 263 snaps for the Vols last season, finishing with 22 tackles and 3 TFLs.
Before Tennessee, Thomas was a multi-year contributor at Middle Tennessee with 71 tackles and 5 PBUs in 2023.
๐ Portal Watch: Monmouth DE Miles Mitchell Visiting FSU ๐
Florida State is set to host Monmouth defensive end Miles Mitchell for a visit this Friday, per Noles247.
The Details:
Mitchell posted a 75 PFF grade in 2024 with 34 pressures, 24 QB hurries, 20 tackles, and 3 sacks.
Best game of the season: a 77.8 grade vs. FIU.
The 6'4", 250-pounder has one year of eligibility left.
He was named to the 2025 Reeseโs Senior Bowl Watch List.

With Markeston Douglas entering the portal, Florida State is exploring tight end options โ and Dillon Hipp is on the radar.
The Details:
Dillon Hipp (6'5", 250 lbs) redshirted at Ole Miss after appearing in three games last season.
FSU has been in contact and discussed the possibility of a visit to Tallahassee this weekend (not finalized yet).
Hipp has a visit scheduled to South Alabama on Thursday.
The former three-star prospect from Scottsdale, Arizona, has four years of eligibility remaining.

Florida State is set to host Rutgers transfer offensive tackle JaโElyne Matthews for a visit on Tuesday, per Noles247.
The Details:
Matthews is a 6'6", 340-pound true freshman from Toms River, N.J.
He enrolled at Rutgers in January 2025 but hit the portal mid-April.
Rated the No. 905 overall transfer and No. 75 offensive tackle by 247Sports.
Previously visited Syracuse during the transfer process.
Also visiting:
Joshua Raymond, a Vanderbilt OL transfer, is expected in Tallahassee late Tuesday into Wednesday.
๐ Portal Watch: FSU Staying Aggressive After Deadline ๐
Even though the spring portal window is closed, the Seminoles are still hustling hard to fill out the roster. Hereโs a look at five current FSU transfer targets:
DE Miles Mitchell (Monmouth): Visiting this weekend. Senior Bowl watch list honoree after posting 30 tackles and 2.5 sacks in 2024.
OT Jaylin Caldwell (Grand Valley State): Big-bodied 6'6", 305-pound lineman set to visit FSU Saturday after stops at Kentucky, WVU, and Missouri.
S Jakobe Thomas (Tennessee): Former Middle Tennessee standout with ties to FSU staff; recorded 22 tackles and a sack last season at Tennessee.
TE Dillon Hipp (Ole Miss): Redshirt freshman tight end (6'5", 240 lbs) with four years of eligibility left. FSU has reached out to gauge interest.
S Jarvis Boatwright Jr. (USC): Clearwater native; conversations with FSU have picked up, though interest could shift depending on Thomas' visit.
