Another loaded slate from Tallahassee, where academic records are falling, postseason rosters are forming, and the Portal never stops spinning.

  • Three Noles punched their ticket to the Arnold Palmer Cup 🏌️

  • Track & Field and Hoops stacked All-ACC Academic honors 📚

  • FSU athletes earned weekly awards, senior night spotlights, and charity titles 🔥

Let’s get into all of it. 👇

These cannabis gummies keep selling out in 2025

If you've ever struggled to enjoy cannabis due to the harshness of smoking or vaping, you're not alone. That’s why these new cannabis gummies caught our eye.

Mood is an online dispensary that has invented a “joint within a gummy” that’s extremely potent yet federally-legal. Their gummies are formulated to tap into the human body’s endocannabinoid system.

Although this system was discovered in the 1990’s, farmers and scientists at Mood were among the first to figure out how to tap into it with cannabis gummies. Just 1 of their rapid onset THC gummies can get you feeling right within 5 minutes!

🌍 Three Noles Selected for 2025 Arnold Palmer Cup 🌍

Tyler Weaver, Lottie Woad, and Mirabel Ting will all represent the International Teams at the 2025 Arnold Palmer Cup, June 5–7 at Congaree Golf Club in South Carolina. 🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️

The Highlights:

  • Weaver (No. 37 WAGR): Makes his first Palmer Cup appearance after helping FSU to the ACC semis.

  • Woad (No. 1 WAGR): Represents England for the second time.

  • Ting (No. 2 WAGR): Will represent Malaysia for the third straight year.

Woad and Ting helped the No. 3 ranked women’s team win its first-ever ACC title, while Weaver was runner-up in ACC stroke play for the No. 10 ranked men’s team.

📚 FSU Track & Field Sets Academic Record 📚

Florida State’s Indoor Track & Field teams placed a program-record 22 student-athletes on the 2025 All-ACC Academic Team, the league announced Tuesday.

To qualify, athletes needed a 3.0+ GPA and participation in the ACC or NCAA Championships.

Honorees included standout names like Bieke Schipperen, Suus Altorf, Micahi Danzy, and Curtis Bain, among many others across both the men’s and women’s teams.

📚 Five Seminoles Earn All-ACC Academic Hoops Honors 📚

Freshman Alier Maluk headlines a group of five Seminoles named to the All-ACC Academic Men’s Basketball Team, marking the second straight year FSU has placed at least five players on the list.

Honorees:

  • Alier Maluk (Communications)

  • Jamir Watkins (earning his degree May 3!)

  • Jerry Deng

  • Daquan Davis

  • Christian Nitu

Maluk credited his family and academic support staff for helping him navigate his first year, while Watkins joins an elite group of multi-time honorees that includes Charlie Ward and Trent Forrest.

⏱️ Danzy & Wilson Named ACC Performers of the Week ⏱️

Micahi Danzy and Tyra Wilson were named ACC Outdoor Track & Field Performers of the Week after standout efforts at the LSU Alumni Gold Invite. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

  • Danzy ran a 45.41 in the 400m — the 8th-fastest time in FSU history, finishing just behind Olympic gold medalist Steven Gardiner.

  • Wilson clocked a personal best 55.39 in the 400m hurdles — the second-fastest mark in school history.

Both athletes are heating up at the perfect time with the ACC Championships just weeks away.

Norvell & Meyer Go Back-to-Back at Peach Bowl Challenge

Mike Norvell and Urban Meyer ran it back in style, winning the 2025 Southern Company Peach Bowl Challenge — their second straight title and FSU’s third overall!

The Highlights:

  • Finished with 45 points — holding off Pitt’s Pat Narduzzi + Rick Neuheisel by one.

  • Two eagles, four birdies, and a clutch 15-foot putt on the final hole from Meyer sealed it.

  • Norvell: “Urban was clutch in big moments.”

  • Meyer: “Mike drove the train. Unreal off the tee.”

The win brings $32,500 each to the Keep Climbing Family Foundation and the Urban and Shelley Meyer Family Foundation as part of a $310,000 charity purse.

After briefly announcing plans to transfer on the final day of the spring window, tight end Markeston Douglas is officially staying at Florida State for what’s expected to be his final year of eligibility.

The Backstory:

  • Douglas never officially entered the portal, per FSU and On3.

  • He had a visit set with North Carolina but opted to remain in Tallahassee after both sides reconnected.

  • The 6'5", 270-pound redshirt senior originally transferred back to FSU from Arizona State this winter.

Career Snapshot:

  • 30 games at FSU from 2020–2023 with 25 receptions, 326 yards, 4 TDs.

  • Caught one pass at ASU last season.

  • Known for his 4-catch, 50-yard, 1-TD performance in the 2022 Cheez-It Bowl vs. Oklahoma.

🔁 FSU Hosting Oklahoma RB Transfer Gavin Sawchuk 🔁

Florida State will host former Oklahoma running back Gavin Sawchuk for a visit Thursday–Friday, per Noles247 — the first known RB transfer visit for the Noles this spring. 👀

The Scoop:

  • Sawchuk rushed for 977 yards and 11 TDs in three seasons with the Sooners.

  • Posted 744 yards and 9 TDs on 6.2 yards per carry in 2023 alone.

  • Known for his elite speed — clocked a 10.62 (wind-aided) 100m in high school.

  • Famously ran for 100 yards and a TD vs. FSU in the 2022 Cheez-It Bowl.

  • Ranked No. 132 overall and No. 7 RB nationally in the 2022 class.

He has two years of eligibility remaining and would bring a speed element to FSU’s backfield.

And that’s a wrap!

Whether it's academic accolades, late-spring visits, or postseason momentum, the Noles are showing out across the board. Expect more Portal updates, more NCAA action, and more milestones ahead — and as always, we’ll be here to cover every swing, sprint, and signing.

Thanks for reading — and Go Noles! 🏹
