FSU held its second and final preseason scrimmage Sunday night, fitting in roughly 100 plays including two-minute drills and special teams work as camp heads into its evaluation phase.

"Defense really did a nice job flying around, made some explosive plays, created some TFLs," Norvell said, later adding that if he had to pick a winner of the night, it was clearly the defense. Some of that edge came by design, with running backs in non-contact jerseys for the evening.

Samuel Singleton Jr. broke off a big run, and Norvell called Ousmane Kromah "great throughout the course of camp." Texas transfer Quintrevion Wisner missed his second straight scrimmage with a minor issue but is expected back shortly.
