Florida State's cross country teams are set to open their 2024 season at the UCF Invitational in Orlando on Friday.
The women's 5k starts at 6:15 p.m., followed by the men's 5k at 6:45 p.m. The Seminoles bring a mix of returning talent and exciting newcomers to the event.

The Florida State softball team unveiled its nine-game fall schedule, featuring seven home games at the Seminole Softball Complex, all free to attend.
The Seminoles kick off on October 4 against Chipola, with additional home games against teams like West Florida, St. Johns River State, and Auburn.

Florida State's Lottie Woad will represent Great Britain and Ireland in the 2024 Curtis Cup Match, held from August 30 to September 1 at Sunningdale Golf Club.
Ranked as the World’s No. 1 amateur player, Woad leads the GB&I team and is familiar with Sunningdale, having won two events there.
She will be joined by FSU Hall of Famer Karen Stupples, who will serve as an Assistant Captain. The Curtis Cup is the premier team competition for women amateur golfers, with the U.S. leading the all-time series 31-8.

The No. 20 Florida State volleyball team kicks off the 2024 season this weekend, hosting the Seminole Invitational at Tully Gym.
The Seminoles will face USF, UC Santa Barbara, and No. 25 Georgia. FSU looks to build on their 2023 ACC Championship with key returners, including ACC Co-Player of the Year Audrey Koenig.

Rising sophomore Andre Korbmacher will compete for Team USA at the 2024 U20 World Athletic Championships in Lima, Peru, on August 29-30.
Korbmacher earned his spot by finishing second in the men's 110-meter hurdles at the USATF Championship with a time of 13.31.
He will race in the prelims on Thursday at 11:20 a.m. As a freshman at FSU, Korbmacher set the sixth-fastest time in program history in the 60-meter hurdles and continued to impress in the outdoor season.

Top247 edge prospect Jarius Rodgers from Fleming Island, Florida, has scheduled several visits this season, with a strong focus on Florida State.

Three-star defensive tackle Trashawn Ruffin has seen his recruitment soar after receiving offers from top programs like Florida, Georgia, Texas A&M, and USC.

EA Sports recently released an update for their college football game, EA CFB25, featuring FSU's current roster. Here are some key changes:
DJ Uiagalelei (QB) drops to 85 (from 86).
Malik Benson (WR) rises to 86 (from 85).
