In a surprising turn of events, it seems that our beloved FSU is prepared to exit the ACC. This significant news came from none other than FSU Chair Peter Collins. He made a pointed comment about the Grant of Rights agreement, hinting that the university is confident about legally leaving the ACC. Fans are buzzing with the potential implications of this move, and we're on the edge of our stadium seats. Will the Seminoles set sail for new conference seas? Only time will tell. The Florida State thing is fascinating.
It's easy to say "It's too expensive to get out of the ACC." And it would be VERY expensive.
But being $30 million-$40 million per year behind the schools you recruit against for 13 years is also incredibly expensive in its own way.

Also it’s worth noting that we’ve seen big price tags when teams switch conferences in the not-so-distant past. The number often discussed with FSU leaving the ACC is $30-$40 million over the next 13 years since that’s when the ACC television contract ends.

As if FSU's campus wasn't exciting enough, it looks like we might have an addition that will really knock your socks off... or should we say, dodge your ball? If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball... right?

A new dodgeball team might be making its way to Tallahassee and these aren't your average gym class heroes. Picture it now - garnet and gold dodgeballs whizzing through the air, the thrill of victory, the hilarity of a well-placed throw... sounds like a ball, doesn't it?

But they need our help, Seminole faithful! Show your support for the dodgeball dream team by commenting, sharing, and spreading the word. Maybe we'll even see you on the court - do you have what it takes to dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge with the best of them?
