Due to rain-soaked conditions at UNF, FSU practiced at the Jacksonville Jaguars' indoor facility. Coach Norvell simulated adversity by turning off the AC, aiming to intensify practice.

Defensive Dominance
FSU's secondary was stellar, with Azareye'h Thomas leading the charge. Fentrell Cypress, Earl Little Jr., Cai Bates, Ricky Knight, and safeties Ashlynd Barker and Conrad Hussey also stood out, making it difficult for the offense to operate consistently.

Offensive Highlights
Despite the defense's strong performance, DJ Uiagalelei and Malik Benson had notable connections, showcasing potential. Uiagalelei made impressive throws, including a perfect 30-yard pass to Lawrance Toafili and an acrobatic catch by Benson in 11-on-11 drills. Brock Glenn also contributed with a 35-yard pass to Elijah Moore.

Team Dynamics
