With NFL Draft season in full swing, FSU cornerback Azareye’h Thomas is making a strong impression at the Senior Bowl—and now, he's being projected as a first-round pick.
📈 NFL.com’s Eric Edholm Mock Draft:
🔹 Projected Pick: No. 32 (Kansas City Chiefs)
🔹 Fit: Ideal for KC’s press-man-heavy defense under Steve Spagnuolo
🔥 Why Thomas Is Rising:
✅ Lockdown Coverage: Gave up just 94 yards & 0 TDs in 354 coverage snaps in 2024
✅ Versatile Playmaker: Ranked 2nd on FSU in tackles (52) with 4 PBUs & an INT
✅ Senior Bowl Standout:
Todd McShay: “He was the best player on the field today… flipping his hips like child’s play.”
👀 Could Thomas be FSU’s next first-round defensive star? He joins a recent Seminole trend after Jared Verse (2024, 19th overall) and Jermaine Johnson (2022, 26th overall).
