North Carolina surged early with nine first-quarter goals and led 16–2 at halftime.

📊 Season Leaders
Kenny now paces the Seminoles with 14 points and 12 goals this season.

I Couldn't Even Sneeze Without Worrying...

Sarah, 58, stopped going to her grandchildren's games. Not because she didn't want to be there—but because she was terrified of having an accident in public. The fear of leaking had taken over her life.
She's not alone. Millions of women over 50 are quietly struggling with bladder control issues, thinking there's no solution beyond pads and constant bathroom mapping. ⛳️🔥 Luke Clanton Shares Advice for FSU’s Next Golf Stars 🔥⛳️

While headlines swirl around incoming stars Charlie Woods and Miles Russell, former Seminole Luke Clanton offered perspective before teeing it up at the Cognizant Classic.

🧠 Advice for the Spotlight
Clanton emphasized enjoying the college experience and sticking together amid rising expectations and media attention.

“It doesn’t matter how good your team is, it matters how close you guys are… you’re not just playing for yourself.”

He encouraged Woods and Russell to lean on each other as brothers — especially when chasing national championships.

👀 Next Name to Know
Clanton also praised teammate Tyler Weaver, calling him “different” after seeing his length and wedge play firsthand. Weaver recently shot a final-round 65 to finish fourth at the Watersound Invitational.

🏈 FSU Roots Run Deep
Asked about his favorite FSU football player, Clanton quickly named Jameis Winston, with Jordan Travis a close second, adding he believes FSU would’ve won it all in 2023 if Travis hadn’t been injured.

🏈💼 Alford Breaks Down How FSU Funds Athletes Beyond Scholarships 💼🏈

During Wednesday’s Board of Trustees meeting, Florida State AD Michael Alford delivered one of his clearest explanations yet on how NIL and athlete funding actually works.

🧾 Three Buckets, Not Just “NIL”
Alford separated athlete compensation into:

  1. Revenue Sharing — distributed by the athletic department (largely to football at FSU), capped at $20.5 million.

  2. Multimedia Rights (MMR) Deals — facilitated through FSU’s partner, Legends, where sponsorships can include athlete endorsements.

  3. Independent Endorsements — athlete-secured deals with representation, which are effectively uncapped as long as they pass approval through NIL Go.

“The number is unlimited,” Alford said of third-party endorsements, provided they have a legitimate business purpose and clear compliance review.

🤝 MMR in Action
FSU confirmed it already has athlete endorsement deals tied to its multimedia rights partnerships and is working on expanding those opportunities.

⚖️ Enforcement & Oversight
Alford and BoT Chair Peter Collins also addressed enforcement through the College Sports Commission (CSC), noting $13 million in deals were recently denied during the winter transfer window. Collins emphasized FSU is operating within the $20.5 million revenue-sharing cap.

Why It Matters:
As NIL narratives swirl nationally, FSU leadership is signaling structure, compliance, and cap management, while still maximizing every legal avenue for athlete compensation.

And that’s a wrap!

From the sand courts to ACC championship lanes…
From doubleheaders at Howser to Board of Trustees breakdowns…

This is the time of year where everything overlaps.

Championship positioning.
Conference survival.
Recruiting momentum.
NIL strategy.

It’s all happening at once and the margins are thin everywhere.

We’ll keep tracking it.

Appreciate you being here, Chief.
