David Mullarkey shattered the school's 3,000-meter record with a time of 7:42.89 at the John Thomas Terrier Classic, now leading the ACC and ranking fourth nationally.
Martin Prodanov made an impressive FSU debut, recording the fifth-fastest mile in school history and placing first in the ACC.

Strong Start Leads to Victory The Florida State women's tennis team (2-0) secured a 4-2 win against SMU (1-3) in the ITA Kickoff's opening round at the Texas Tennis Center.
Doubles Success Sets Early Lead FSU gained an early 1-0 lead with wins in doubles by Millie Bissett/Laura Putz and Anna Arkadianou/Kristyna Lavickova. Ellie Schoppe and Eva Shaw were leading when the doubles point was clinched.
Singles Battles Swing Momentum Bissett extended FSU's lead with a win at No. 5 singles. Although SMU fought back to tie the match 2-2, FSU rallied in the second sets, sending three matches to decisive third sets.
Arkadianou and Schoppe Clinch the Win Arkadianou overcame a first-set loss to win her match, giving FSU a 3-2 lead. Schoppe clinched the overall victory with a hard-fought three-set win.
