• F Thomas Bassong (6'8", 203 lbs)
🧱 Sophomores:
• G Martin Somerville (6'3", 185 lbs)
• G Jalen Crawford (6'0", 165 lbs)
• F AJ Swinton (6'6", 220 lbs)
• F Alier Maluk (6'11", 220 lbs)
🧨 Juniors:
• F Shahid Muhammad (6'11", 200 lbs)
🎓 Seniors:

🛬 Final Note:
An international guard is expected to round out the 15-man roster before the season begins.

🎯🧨 FSU Battles Arizona State for 4-Star TE Landen Miree 🧨🎯

One of Florida State’s top tight end targets is set to announce his commitment this Friday — and it’s shaping up to be a two-horse race.
🏈 The Contenders:
• Final 4: Arizona State, Baylor, Florida State, Washington
• True finalists: Arizona State vs. Florida State
🔁 Momentum Check:
• ASU leads in the RPM and has built a 1.5-year relationship with Miree
• FSU has impressed with its tradition, coaching staff, and offensive fit
🗣️ Miree on ASU:
“They’ve probably been the most real coaches I’ve talked to during this process.”
🗣️ Miree on FSU:
“They’ve got a rich tradition... they’re always gonna be in the conversation.”
📊 Key Factors:
• Playing time: Edge to Arizona State (shallower TE room)
• Offensive fit: Advantage FSU
• NIL: Still in play — could be the final tiebreaker
🔑 Bottom Line:
This one’s going down to the wire. FSU has the scheme and pedigree, but ASU’s early playing time and long-term bond make it a dead heat.
🛡️🔁 4-Star DB Tedarius Hughes Still Committed, But Open 🔁🛡️

3:36 AM • Jun 16, 2025
FSU defensive back commit Tedarius Hughes just hit the one-year mark since his pledge — and while he’s still on board, the door isn’t shut.
📍 Where Things Stand:
• “I’m still committed,” Hughes told Rivals.
• Plans to visit FSU for the Alabama game this fall
🛫 Other Visits Taken:
• Miami
• Syracuse
• Mid-June visit to FSU (brief)
• Nebraska and Colorado officials likely this fall
👀 Programs Still in Play:
• Nebraska – Longstanding relationship with coaches, likely official visit later in the season
• Colorado – Recent offer from Coach Prime’s staff, building relationship with DBs coach Kevin Mathis
🗣️ Hughes on Nebraska:
“They were like my second offer... I feel like having a Florida kid at a place like Nebraska can change the program for real.”
🗣️ Hughes on Colorado:
“I’m still learning about them... just trying to build that connection.”
🔑 Bottom Line:
FSU remains in the driver’s seat, but Nebraska and Colorado are lurking. Hughes says he’s still committed — but we’ll see if that holds through a busy fall visit slate.
This Company with a pre-money valuation of only C$3million is completing a C$3million seed equity raise for the restart of the fully permitted Gold Road mine in Arizona, USA. The current low company valuation offers near-term potential for a significant re-rating from the production start, a public quotation, and an additional one million ounces of gold exploration upside.
The cost to build Gold Road from scratch today would be close to US$100 million and management plans to grow production to 20,000 ounces of gold per year in 2025/26. In a strong gold price environment this could lead to a US$40+million EBITDA in 2026 and potential for a very healthy dividend yield paid in physical gold and silver.
Management has a proven track record and plans to go public in Q1 2026.

FSU’s 2026 class is 22 strong — and it could grow fast. Here’s where things stand with the remaining priority recruits set to decide in the coming days:
🛡️ OT Wilson Zierer (3⭐)
📆 Decision: This summer
🧠 Intel: FSU is in a tight battle with Auburn and Alabama. His family connection to Gus Malzahn may give the Noles an edge.
🔚 TE Landen Miree (3⭐)
📆 Decision: Friday, July 11
🧠 Intel: ASU is now the favorite. FSU landing Xavier Tiller likely shifted this one away from the Noles.
🛡️ CB Samari Matthews (4⭐)
📆 Decision: Friday, July 11
🧠 Intel: Texas and South Carolina are the leaders. FSU hosted him but isn’t expected to land him.
💥 EDGE Katrell Webb (3⭐)
📆 Decision: July 12–13
🧠 Intel: FSU is in the final mix with Indiana and Purdue. Whether FSU pushes depends on NIL terms — this one could go either way.
🧱 LB Rodney Colton Jr. (4⭐)
📆 Decision: Saturday, July 12
🧠 Intel: NIL will decide this one. FSU, Ole Miss, and Colorado are the finalists — Rebels gaining steam late.
🧱 LB DQ Forkpa Jr. (4⭐)
📆 Decision: Saturday, July 12
🧠 Intel: Still talking with FSU, but Forkpa is expected to commit to Florida.
🧲 TE Heze Kent (4⭐)
📆 Decision: Saturday, July 12
🧠 Intel: Florida appears to be in line to land Kent. FSU stayed involved, but the Gators are trending.
🛡️ OT Da’Ron Parks (3⭐)
📆 Decision: Saturday, July 26
🧠 Intel: One of FSU’s most important remaining targets. Auburn, Ohio State, and Kentucky are also in the mix — but FSU has a real shot.
🔑 Bottom Line:
FSU could make a couple key additions — but NIL negotiations will be pivotal. All eyes are on Zierer, Webb, and Parks to help close the class in the trenches.
And that’s a wrap!
That’s all for today — but the next 10 days will be a recruiting whirlwind. From tight ends to offensive tackles, and a men’s hoops roster just shy of final form, the Noles are in the middle of the summer’s biggest moves. Stay locked in — and we’ll break it all down again tomorrow.
Until then,
— The Chief Brief team
