Florida State’s track & field and cross country programs scored big in the classroom, earning USTFCCCA Academic Team honors for the 2025 indoor and outdoor seasons.
✅ Men’s Team
• Posted a 3.056 GPA after the spring semester
• 6 All-Academic Athletes: Zach Cloud, Andre Korbmacher, Zach Leachman, Durian Moss, Amare Williams, Tyson Williams

Florida State is bolstering its distance program with the addition of Ryan Murphy to Matt Kane’s coaching staff for the 2025-26 season.

• Will lead the men’s distance group and serve as director of operations

Former Seminole M.J. Walker capped off his NBA Summer League run as the Charlotte Hornets claimed the championship, defeating the Sacramento Kings 83–78 in Las Vegas.

Doak Campbell Stadium will look and feel a lot different in 2025—starting with a new capacity of 67,277 seats, down from its previous 79,560. That’s a 12,283-seat reduction as part of FSU’s massive $265M renovation project.

• Revamped premium seating – Dunlap Champions Club, Founders Suites, Loge Boxes & West Sideline Club
• Chairback seating added to the East side
• Upgraded concourses & signage throughout
• New concession options + improved restroom access
• ADA enhancements for better accessibility
• Massive video boards in the North (57×120 ft) & South (35×75 ft) end zones, plus new ribbon boards

The finish line is in sight for Da’Ron Parks, the highly coveted 6’5”, 300-pound OL out of Sarasota (Fla.) Cardinal Mooney. Parks will announce his commitment on Saturday, July 26 at ~4:30 p.m. ET, wrapping up a recruitment that’s stayed wide open until the very end.
