This cannabis startup pioneered “rapid onset” gummies

Most people prefer to smoke cannabis but that isn’t an option if you’re at work or in public.

That’s why we were so excited when we found out about Mood’s new Rapid Onset THC Gummies. They can take effect in as little as 5 minutes without the need for a lighter, lingering smells or any coughing.

Nobody will ever know you’re enjoying some THC.

We recommend you try them out because they offer a 100% money-back guarantee. And for a limited time, you can receive 20% off with code FIRST20.

⛳ Tyler Weaver Earns All-America Honors, Set for U.S. Open Debut ⛳

Florida State golf continues its national ascent — and Tyler Weaver is the latest name joining the elite ranks.

The sophomore standout was named a 2025 Division I PING All-America Honorable Mention by the Golf Coaches Association of America, joining teammate Luke Clanton, who earned his second straight First Team nod.

📈 Weaver’s 2025 Season at a Glance:

  • 6 top-10 finishes, including a win at the Cabo Collegiate

  • 71.31 stroke average, with a low round of 66

  • Runner-up at the 2025 ACC Championship

  • 2–1 in match play this season

🌍 International Impact:
Weaver shined at the 2025 Arnold Palmer Cup, earning 2 points for Team International, including a clutch birdie on 17 to defeat Team USA’s Jackon Koivun.

He also teamed up with FSU women’s All-American Lottie Woad for a come-from-behind win in mixed four-ball, helping lead Team International to a 35–25 victory.

⛳ What’s Next:
Weaver, currently ranked No. 28 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings, will tee it up this week at the 125th U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club (June 12–15), joining FSU alums Brooks Koepka and Daniel Berger in the field.

📊 Program Legacy:

  • FSU now boasts 59 All-America honors since 1957

  • Clanton joins John Pak as the only two-time First Team honorees in program history

🚨 FSU Wraps Huge OV Weekend with Commitments, Momentum, and Major Targets Trending 🚨

Florida State hosted 18 top prospects in the first of three loaded official visit weekends — and the early returns are overwhelmingly positive. One commit is already in, and the Seminoles are rising fast for several top-tier targets across both sides of the ball.

Here’s where things stand after a pivotal three-day push in Tallahassee:

🏈 COMMITTED: DL Wihtlley Cadeau
The 6’5”, 280-pounder became the first summer pledge, flipping momentum for FSU’s 2026 class. Cadeau chose the Noles over interest from Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina.

💥 Trending Up at Key Positions:

🧱 Defensive Line:

  • Earnest Rankins (4⭐ EDGE): Called the visit “eye opening.” Now in his Top 4 with UGA, Auburn, and Texas. FSU surged up his board — and DL coach Terrance Knighton made a huge impression.

  • Cam Brickle (3⭐ DT): FSU left a strong impression, though competing with northeastern programs like Ohio State and Penn State may be a challenge.

🛡️ Defensive Backs:

  • Samari Matthews (4⭐ CB): Now sees FSU in a three-way tie with Texas and South Carolina. Praised the staff’s consistency and said FSU “truly feels like family.”

  • J’Zavien Currence (4⭐ S, South Carolina commit): Called the OV “genuine” and said Norvell’s energy and vision stood out. FSU is the only threat to flip him.

🧠 Linebackers:

  • Rodney Colton Jr. (4⭐): Declared FSU as his No. 1 school following the visit. Decision expected August 9.

  • DQ Forkpa Jr. (3⭐): Said, “This the place for me.” FSU was running third before the visit — now might be tied at the top.

  • TJ White (4⭐): FSU is in the top group but faces tough competition from Tennessee and Auburn.

💨 Running Backs:

  • Carsyn Baker (4⭐): “Neck and neck” between FSU and Florida. Plans to decide around June 25.

  • Jae Lamar (4⭐): Georgia still leads, but FSU made a strong impression with its player development pitch.

🎯 Wide Receivers:

  • Devin Carter (4⭐ Auburn commit): Trending heavily toward a flip back to FSU. Strong legacy ties. Plans return for season opener vs. Alabama.

  • Brandon Bennett (4⭐): South Florida speedster says FSU leads. UF and UGA are also involved.

  • Keeyun Chapman (3⭐): Big-bodied WR rising up FSU’s board. OV helped, but FSU has not offered his brother, which could be a factor.

  • Daniel Odom (4⭐ Oklahoma commit): FSU likes him, but Washington and Colorado could also be players.

🧱 Offensive Line:

  • Mike Ionata (3⭐ FSU commit): Rock solid. “Unless something drastic happens, I’m pretty set here.”

  • Javeion Cooper (4⭐ Syracuse commit): Visit made a big impact. He’s seriously considering a flip — “They gave me something to think about.”

  • Aaron Thomas (4⭐ legacy): Tight-lipped, but FSU family connections help. Decision coming end of June.

  • Mitchell Smith (3⭐): Low visibility post-visit. Vanderbilt may lead.

📊 Where FSU Stands Now:

  • No. 19 in the On3 Industry Recruiting Rankings

  • Strong momentum heading into Visit Weekend No. 2

  • Flipping OL and WR commits. In the mix for elite LBs and DBs.

📉 The Harsh Truth About FSU’s Recruiting Weight Class 📉

It’s no secret FSU’s high school recruiting under Mike Norvell has lagged — but a new report shows just how historically underwhelming it’s been.

Despite a 13-win season in 2023, the Seminoles are currently recruiting more like Mississippi State than Miami, and more like Missouri than Florida. And unless that trend reverses quickly, it could derail any long-term College Football Playoff ambitions.

📊 FSU's Place in the Recruiting Ecosystem:
• Programs were divided into four tiers based on recruiting averages over the last four cycles. FSU sits in the Bronze Tier — the lowest of the four.
• They’ve hosted 72 official visitors this cycle — 37 of those are also visiting Platinum-tier schools like Georgia, Bama, Ohio State, and Texas.
• In terms of elite talent (94+ Composite Rating or “Platinum Chip Prospects”), FSU is hosting 18 such players — roughly 25% of their visitors.
- For comparison: FSU hosted 38 PCPs over the past three cycles combined, converting just 26.3% into signees.

🧠 What This Means:

  • FSU’s elite recruiting hit rate has to improve: Hosting fewer PCPs only works if you’re closing on more of them.

  • Battles to Watch: Of the 18 Platinum Chip visitors this cycle, just seven are winnable (i.e., not surrounded by multiple visits to elite-tier programs).

  • Critical names include:

    • Devin Carter (Auburn WR commit)

    • Earnest Rankins (Top DL target)

    • TJ White (Linebacker target)

    • Samari Matthews (CB with FSU in his top 3)

🚨 The Bottom Line:
If Norvell wants to climb out of the “Bronze” class and consistently contend for national relevance, he’ll need to start punching up — and winning — against programs in the tiers above. And it starts this summer.

🚪 FSU Loses 2027 Four-Star Commit to Auburn 🚪

Florida State’s top-ranked 2027 class just took a hit.

Four-star safety Jaylen Scott, the No. 90 overall player in the country, has flipped his commitment to Auburn after visiting The Plains. He had been committed to FSU since January, following a Junior Day in Tallahassee.

Scott’s departure leaves FSU with three commitments in the 2027 class:
Mekhi Williams (four-star safety)
Bryce Williams (four-star DB)
Kaneilius Purdy (three-star athlete)

Despite the early nature of the class, losing a blue-chip safety who posted 107 tackles and 4 INTs last season is a notable blow.

🎯 FSU Target Fuentes Stands Out at Future 60 Camp 🎯

Florida State got a closer look at one of its key basketball targets this weekend.

Myles Fuentes, a four-star point guard in the 2027 class, turned heads at the Under Armour Future 60 Camp held at IMG Academy. Ranked No. 51 nationally, Fuentes showcased elite playmaking ability, separation off the dribble, and a sponge-like attitude in drills — all traits that reinforce his rising stock.

🔥 FSU is in early:
Fuentes already holds offers from Florida State, Stanford, USF, Villanova, Washington, and West Virginia.

Other Notables with FSU Connections:

Quinton Wilson (2028) – An explosive Florida-based guard who earned camp MVP honors. While unoffered, he’s in early territory FSU typically recruits from.
Kaleb Allen (2028) – A long, athletic wing from South Carolina with two-way upside. Emerging name in a region FSU scouts heavily.

While most of the weekend’s buzz centered around the future (2027–2028 prospects), it’s clear FSU is in the mix for top-tier Southeast talent on the hardwood.

And that’s a wrap!

The recruiting race is heating up — and FSU just made its first big move of the summer. With the U.S. Open around the corner and elite prospects circling the Tribe, this week could define the next chapter for both the football and golf programs.

We’ll be watching it all closely — from the flip battles and OV weekends to Weaver’s tee time at Oakmont.

Until tomorrow,
✌️ Chief
