Tyler Atkinson, a five-star linebacker from Loganville (Ga.) Grayson and the No. 10 prospect in the 2026 On3 Industry Ranking, continues to be one of the most coveted juniors in the country.
While keeping his options open, Atkinson maintains a top four list of schools: Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, and Ohio State.

Javion Hilson, the nation's No. 1 ranked edge rusher, reaffirmed his commitment to Florida State amidst a busy month of official visits. Despite recent trips to Florida, Texas, and an upcoming visit to UCF, Hilson returned to Tallahassee to work one-on-one with FSU defensive ends coach John Papuchis.
Hilson emphasized his strong connection with Papuchis and his admiration for FSU's history of developing top defensive ends like Jared Verse and Jermaine Johnson. He praised the defensive scheme and his fit within it, drawing parallels to current FSU star Patrick Payton.

Florida State remains in contention for Vero Beach (Fla.) four-star linebacker Tarvos Alford despite his commitment to Ohio State. Alford, ranked No. 72 overall and No. 8 linebacker nationally by 247Sports, has maintained regular communication with FSU linebackers coach Randy Shannon.
Alford is scheduled to visit FSU for their home game against Memphis on September 14. He recently participated in FSU's 7-on-7 tournament and has also visited Ohio State and Illinois in June, with a trip to UCF planned next.
