🚀 FSU Lands Speedster WR Brandon Bennett from American Heritage 🚀

Florida State has added some serious jet fuel to its 2026 recruiting class — four-star wide receiver Brandon Bennett has committed to the Seminoles over finalists Georgia and Florida.
🏃♂️ Track Star, Deep Threat:
• 100m PR: 10.40 | 200m PR: 21.06
• Finished 7th in 100m at FHSAA 3A State Meet
• Brother Braylen is the state champ
📈 On the Field:
• 24 receptions, 509 yards, 7 TDs as a junior
• Averaged 21.2 yards per catch
• Dangerous on deep routes and in open space
🧠 Fit with FSU:
Bennett had a strong official visit to Tallahassee, where OC Gus Malzahn and WR coach Tim Harris Jr. detailed how they’ll deploy his elite speed in both the offense and return game.
“They talked about how my deep threat is such an asset… but it’s much more than that,” Bennett said. “Just find me the ball in open space.”
🔍 Scouting Snapshot (via Andrew Ivins, 247Sports):
“A vertical burner who can flip the field and clear space. Smooth mover with legit top-end speed. Needs to bulk up but has clear impact potential with development.”
👀 Bottom Line:
Bennett is FSU’s latest high-upside offensive weapon — and one who could start stretching defenses early in his career.
🧲 FSU Kicking the Tires on Purdue TE Commit ArMari Towns 🧲

Florida State could be circling back into the race for three-star tight end ArMari Towns, who dropped by campus on Wednesday despite being committed to Purdue since April.
📍 Hometown: Selma, AL
📏 Size: 6’6”, 217 lbs
📈 247Sports Rank: No. 22 TE in 2026 class
🗣️ What He Said:
• “I’ve always had interest in Florida schools growing up.”
• “Being back on campus opened up more opportunity for me.”
• “I am committed, but my recruitment isn’t shut down.”
🔧 Why It Matters:
Towns took part in FSU’s Big Man Camp and spent time with TE coach Chris Thomsen, getting one-on-one work that helped him envision a future in garnet and gold — even hinting that FSU could develop him into an NFL-caliber tight end.
🚨 What’s Next:
Towns hasn’t taken any official visits and is open to scheduling one with FSU if the Seminoles make a push. No flip buzz yet, but the door is cracked open.
👀 Five-Star Alert: FSU Hosting 16 Recruits This Weekend, Headlined by CB Chauncey Kennon 👀
