🎯 Jamie Arnold Invited to USA Baseball Training Camp 🎯

Florida State left-handed pitcher Jamie Arnold has been invited to the 2024 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Training Camp in Cary, N.C.

The sophomore, boasting an impressive 11-3 record with a 2.98 ERA and 159 strikeouts, has earned recognition as a first-team All-American by the NCBWA, ABCA, and Perfect Game, and a first-team All-ACC selection.

Postseason Highlights:

  • Named Most Outstanding Player of the Tallahassee Regional with 12 strikeouts against UCF.

  • Struck out 17 Pitt batters over 7.0 innings, a record for an ACC pitcher in six years.

Training Camp Details:

  • The camp will feature 56 premier non-draft-eligible college players in a two-game Stars vs. Stripes intrasquad series on June 26 and 27 at the USA Baseball National Training Complex.

  • The final Collegiate National Team roster will be announced on June 29.

The Florida State women's tennis team proudly announces that six of its student-athletesβ€”Vic Allen, Anna Arkadianou, Millie Bissett, Laura Putz, Ellie Schoppe, and Kristyna Lavickovaβ€”have earned All-ACC Academic honors.

Academic Achievements:

  • Team GPA: 3.51 for the 2023-2024 academic year.

  • Spring Semester GPA: 3.44.

  • Individual Success: Nine players achieved a GPA of 3.3 or higher, with three attaining a perfect 4.0.

Academic Criteria for Selection:

  • A 3.0 GPA for the previous semester and a cumulative GPA of 3.0.

  • Participation in at least 50% of team contests.

Florida State's recruiting plans have shifted for Miami (Fla.) Edison three-star cornerback Jett White. Initially scheduled for an official visit to FSU on June 21st, White has rescheduled his visit to the weekend of October 5th, when the Seminoles host Clemson.

  • Current Commitment: White is currently committed to Maryland since January.

  • Visits: He officially visited Maryland earlier this month and took an unofficial visit to FSU in April 2024.

  • Other Interests: Florida, LSU, Marshall, Miami, Texas A&M, and USF.

For the third time in 2024, Florida State University (FSU) Board of Trustees and the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) faced off in the Leon County Courthouse, discussing FSU's lawsuit aiming to exit the ACC.
