🌟 Jeremiah Davis Named ACC Men's Outdoor Field Performer of the Year 🌟 Jeremiah Davis was named the ACC Men's Outdoor Field Performer of the Year. He won gold in both the long jump and triple jump at the ACC Championships and earned All-American honors at the NCAA Outdoor Championship.

🥎 Record-Breaking Academic Achievements for FSU Softball 🥎 FSU softball set a program record with 15 players named to the All-ACC Academic Team. Devyn Flaherty and Kaley Mudge led the honorees with their exceptional academic achievements.

⚽ Seminole Star Jody Brown Signs with S.L. Benfica ⚽ Jody Brown has signed a professional contract with S.L. Benfica, becoming the eighth player from FSU's 2023 national championship team to go pro. Brown had a stellar career at FSU and international success with Jamaica's Reggae Girlz.

🏈 FSU QB Commit Tramell Jones Jr. Shines at Elite 11 Event 🏈 Class of 2025 QB commit Tramell Jones Jr. excelled at the Elite 11 QB event in California, showcasing his precision and mechanics. Jones is solidifying his reputation as a top prospect.

🏈 FSU's Intensive Recruitment of Five-Star Edge Jared Smith 🏈 Five-star edge Jared Smith visited FSU, interacting with head coach Mike Norvell and defensive ends coach John Papuchis. Smith appreciated the team dynamics and development focus at FSU. His decision is expected by early August.

🏈 Florida State's Aggressive Recruitment of Nicolas Clayton 🏈 Three-star DE Nicolas Clayton was impressed by FSU’s energy and coaching during his visit. He appreciated the defensive schemes and felt prioritized by the coaching staff. Clayton plans to announce his decision on June 22.

🏈 FSU Hosts Unique Offensive Tackle Prospect Jahzare Jackson 🏈 Jahzare Jackson, a former basketball standout turned football recruit, visited FSU and expressed high regard for the program. He built a strong relationship with OC Alex Atkins and discussed playing both OT and TE. Jackson plans to decide on his college by early July.

🌟 Samantha Vear Advances to U.S. Olympic Diving Finals 🌟

Exciting News: Florida State diver Samantha Vear has advanced to the final of the women’s 3-meter event at the U.S. Olympic Trials, held at the University of Tennessee.

Preliminary Success: Vear finished 15th in the prelims with a score of 223.25 after five dives, securing her spot in the semifinals.

Semifinal Achievement: In the semifinals, Vear delivered strong performances, scoring above 50 points on four out of five dives, and placed 11th with a total score of 262.95, thus advancing to the final.

Finals Info: The Conroe, Texas native will compete in the final on Saturday at 7 p.m. Catch the action live on NBC and Peacock.

Other Seminoles in Action: Mason Herbet is set to compete in the 100 fly to conclude the U.S. Swimming Olympic Trials, while Katrina Young will participate in the platform diving event at the U.S. Olympic Diving Trials on Friday.

🌟 Jeremiah Davis Named ACC Men's Outdoor Field Performer of the Year 🌟

Outstanding Achievement: After winning the ACC Indoor Field Performer of the Year in 2024 and 2023, Jeremiah Davis has now been named the ACC Men's Outdoor Field Performer of the Year, as announced by the conference on Thursday.

Historical Milestone: Davis becomes the third Seminole in program history to capture this prestigious award for the outdoor season, joining Isaac Grimes (2021) and FSU Athletics Hall of Fame member Ngoni Makusha (2011).

Consistent Excellence: Davis is the first ACC student-athlete to receive the ACC Field Performer of the Meet for three consecutive seasons, having won gold in both the long jump and triple jump at the 2024 ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Championship Performance:

• Long Jump: Repeated as ACC Champion with a mark of 7.95m (26-1¾).

• Triple Jump: Claimed the title with a mark of 16.71m (54-10), the first time since 2018 for FSU.

NCAA Success: Davis won silver in the long jump (8.07m, 26-5¾) and took fourth in the triple jump (16.62m, 54-6½) at the NCAA Outdoor Championship, earning his 10th and 11th career All-American honors.

🥎 Record-Breaking Academic Achievements for FSU Softball 🥎

A program record 15 Florida State softball players were named to the All-ACC Academic Team, surpassing the previous record of 12 set last season. This achievement highlights FSU's commitment to academic excellence alongside athletic performance.

Top Honorees:

• Devyn Flaherty: Fourth consecutive All-ACC Academic honor, Master's in Sport Management, 3.89 GPA, CSC Third Team Academic All-American.

• Kaley Mudge: Third All-ACC Academic honor, graduate certificate in athletic coaching, 4.00 GPA, CSC Academic All-American.

Multiple-time Honorees:

• Autumn Belviy, Jahni Kerr, Amaya Ross, Allison Royalty, Hallie Wacaser: Second All-ACC Academic honors.

First-Time Honorees:

• Jaysoni Beachum, Angelee Bueno, Ashtyn Danley, Madi Frey, Kennedy Harp, Annie Potter, Isa Torres, Emma Wilson

FSU ended the 2024 season with a 46-16 record, hosting a NCAA Regional for the 10th consecutive season and advancing to its 10th Super Regional in the last 11 seasons.

Academic Requirements:

• 3.0 GPA for the previous semester and a cumulative average.

• Participation in at least 50% of team contests and 20% for pitchers.

⚽ Seminole Star Jody Brown Signs with S.L. Benfica ⚽

Two-time national champion Jody Brown has signed a professional contract with four-time Portuguese league champions S.L. Benfica. Brown is the eighth Seminole from the 2023 national championship team to go pro.

2023 Season Highlights:

• Scored 7 goals and 5 assists in 20 starts.

• Earned All-ACC honors all four years.

• Named United Soccer Coaches All-American in 2022 and 2023.

Career Achievements:

• Over 4,500 minutes, 78 appearances, and 60 starts.

• Scored 24 goals and 25 assists (73 points).

• Key moments include scoring in the ACC Championship and National Championship games.

International Career:

• 23 caps for Jamaica's Reggae Girlz.

Upcoming Challenges:

• Day 3 will feature a 7-on-7 tournament and an accuracy challenge, where Jones has the opportunity to solidify his standing as a Top 5 QB and potentially break into the Top 3.

Recruitment Update:

• Committed to FSU since April 2023, Jones has also received interest from Florida. An official visit to FSU this weekend could finalize his recruitment.
