Former Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher is officially heading to the studio, joining the ACC Network as a weekly analyst on ACC Huddle, per an ESPN announcement.

• Will appear weekly alongside host Taylor Tannebaum and analysts Eric Mac Lain (Clemson legend) and Eddie Royal (Virginia Tech standout)
• FSU great EJ Manuel transitions to a new ESPN studio role but will still have a strong ACCN presence

ACC Commissioner Jim Phillips announced two major policy changes coming for the 2025-26 season—mandatory injury reports and a fine structure for court and field stormings—during the ACC Kickoff presser in Charlotte.

💥 New Injury Report Rules
• Football: Reports released two days before games (typically Thursdays), plus updates one day prior & on game day
• Basketball & Baseball: Reports posted on the ACC website 24 hours before tipoff/first pitch with updates up to 2 hours before
• Availability will mirror NFL-style categories: probable, questionable, doubtful, out
• No fines yet for “late or untruthful” reports

💥 Field/Court Storming Fines
• $50,000 for first offense
• $100,000 for second offense
• $200,000 for third offense
• Timeline resets every 2 years
• Focus is on player & coach safety—visiting teams must safely exit before fans are allowed

💥 Loopholes & Notable Cases
• Clemson’s “Gathering at the Paw” tradition will continue—fans can enter the field after visiting players/coaches exit
• Other programs could follow similar post-game timing to avoid fines while keeping traditions alive
