⛳ Tyler Weaver Qualifies for U.S. Open After Clutch Finish in Atlanta ⛳

The Noles are heading to the majors.

FSU rising junior Tyler Weaver qualified for the 125th U.S. Open on Monday, earning a spot at Oakmont Country Club (June 12–15) after finishing 11-under and tied for third at the Piedmont Driving Club qualifier in Atlanta.

🔥 Weaver caught fire with four straight birdies in round two, carding a 66 to secure his place by one stroke.

🏌️‍♂️ Big Picture:
• First major appearance for Weaver
• Fourth FSU amateur since 2020 to qualify for a major (Pak, Clanton, Kjettrup)
• Joins alumni Brooks Koepka and Daniel Berger in this year’s U.S. Open field

Weaver, who just wrapped a sophomore season with six top-10 finishes and an All-America nod, will also represent FSU in the Arnold Palmer Cup (June 5–7).

🎾 Corey Craig Named to ATP Next Gen Accelerator Program 🎾

Florida State tennis standout Corey Craig is leveling up.

The rising senior has been selected as one of 22 players nationally for the prestigious 2025–26 ATP Next Gen Accelerator program — a pipeline designed to fast-track top collegiate talent into the professional ranks.

🌟 Craig’s Résumé:
• No. 16 in final ITA singles rankings
• 19–7 singles record in debut FSU season
• 11 ranked wins, including 4 top-25 and 2 top-10 victories
• All-ACC First Team + NCAA Fall Singles quarterfinalist

The program grants Craig ATP Challenger Tour playing opportunities beginning July 7, with the potential to jumpstart his pro career — following in the footsteps of five recent college stars who broke into the ATP Top 150 through the initiative.

Experience safe and effective relief from chronic pain with Nápreva.

Clinical studies suggest terpenes may offer more effective relief than traditional drugs—without the unwanted side effects.

🏆 Janikowski & Warrick Back on College Football Hall of Fame Ballot 🏆

Two Florida State legends are once again up for the sport’s highest collegiate honor.

Sebastian Janikowski and Peter Warrick were named to the 2026 National Football Foundation College Football Hall of Fame ballot — among 79 FBS players and 9 coaches vying for induction.

🔥 The Résumés:

Sebastian Janikowski (PK)
• Two-time Lou Groza Award winner (1998, 1999) — still the only player to win it twice
• Unanimous First Team All-American in 1999
• Key piece of FSU’s national title run in 1999 season

Peter Warrick (WR)
• Unanimous First Team All-American in 1999, Sugar Bowl MVP
• Two-time First Team All-ACC
• FSU’s all-time leader in receiving touchdowns (32)
• ACC’s all-time leading receiver (3,517 yards) at the time of graduation

Both have appeared on past ballots — but 2026 could finally be their year.

🏅 The inductees will be enshrined in Las Vegas on December 8, 2026, and honored on campus during the fall.

🛡️ Local LB/S Prospect Daylen Green Says FSU Is His Top School 🛡️

Could another local standout be on the verge of committing to the Garnet & Gold?

Gadsden County’s Daylen Green, a hybrid linebacker/safety, continues to rise on Florida State’s recruiting board after a strong showing at Sunday’s Elite Camp. Already offered back in January, Green confirmed after the event that the Seminoles are his top school — and that an official visit is now locked in for June 13–15.

👀 Why FSU Leads:

“I’ve been around the program for a long time… The coaches can develop me on and off the field, so that’s why I have a great feeling about FSU.”

Green worked primarily with the linebacker group but also showed his range in DB drills, impressing coaches with his versatility and physicality.

📅 What’s Next:

  • He’s visiting Arkansas (June 6–8) before his FSU official.

  • FSU has already greenlit his commitment.

  • A decision could come soon, pending a conversation with his mom.

The 6’1", 205-pounder (and climbing) may be unranked — but FSU is treating him like a top priority.

🔥 4-Star Miami LB Commit Jordan Campbell Visits FSU, Calls ‘Noles “Family” 🔥

In a surprise move, Miami linebacker commit Jordan Campbell made an unofficial visit to Florida State this week — and didn’t hold back about how much he likes what he sees in Tallahassee.

🗣️ “They’ve been recruiting the heck out of me,” Campbell said. “Calling me and my mom... I love Florida State, and I love Coach Norvell. I ain’t scared to say it.”

The No. 152 overall prospect in the 2026 class (No. 7 LB nationally), Campbell praised the full-staff approach from FSU, noting that he could name every position coach — a rarity in his recruitment.

👀 What FSU Sees in Him:
The ‘Noles love Campbell’s versatility — a hybrid pass-rusher who can also play off-ball — and made it clear they have big plans for him within Tony White’s scheme.

📅 What’s Next:
• Has OVs lined up to Nebraska, Missouri, Auburn, and Miami
• FSU OV expected to happen in-season
• Says he’s “locked in” with the Canes — but left the door open

The X-Factor:
Campbell said if there’s one thing FSU needs to do to really shift momentum, it’s this: “More wins, honestly. I’m being raw and honest.”

🏈 Two Mississippi State Commits Eyeing FSU After Official Visits 🏈

Florida State hosted a pair of Mississippi State commits this weekend — and both left with serious interest in flipping.

🛡️ OL Jakobe Green (Niceville → Gadsden County)
The 6’3", 360-pound guard finally received his FSU offer just weeks ago after multiple visits. His size and mobility as a pulling guard make him a perfect fit in FSU’s scheme — something both OL coach Herb Hand and Mike Norvell emphasized all weekend.

💬 “It’s been a long process… but this place means a lot. The teammates around me this weekend — that really meant a lot.”

Green will visit Mississippi State on June 20 before deciding.

⚡ WR Camden Capehart (Texas speedster)
Capehart, who called FSU’s up-tempo offense “a perfect fit,” also raved about how Gus Malzahn plans to use him creatively: “It’s screens, reverses… anything to get the ball in my hands.”

💬 “FSU set the bar high this weekend. My first visit was great, but this was even better.”

Capehart visits Mississippi State on June 14 and may add UCLA to his travel list before choosing.

🧱 2027 TE Jaxon Dollar Dominates at Elite Camp, Sees Stock Rise 🧱

Florida State’s Elite Camp was a breakout moment for four-star tight end Jaxon Dollar — and he left with high praise from the staff after a dominant showing.

👀 Who is Jaxon Dollar?
The 6'5", 208-pound Denver (N.C.) East Lincoln product is the No. 93 overall prospect and No. 5 tight end in the 2027 class (247Sports). He earned his FSU offer back in March, but this was his first time on campus.

🎯 Camp Highlights:
• Displayed elite athleticism and downfield separation
• Created mismatch problems for every defender he faced
• Caught the eye of TE coach Chris Thomsen and head coach Mike Norvell

💬 “All the coaches really cared about their players… wanting them to excel in the classroom and on the field. That stood out to me the most.”

Dollar also credited his basketball background for his body control and aerial ball skills. He hopes to return to Tallahassee for a game this fall.

🔥 2027 QB Logan Flaherty Impresses at FSU Elite Camp 🔥

A rising dual-sport star from Port Charlotte (Fla.), 2027 quarterback Logan Flaherty made a strong impression on Saturday at Florida State’s Elite Camp — especially with his deep-ball accuracy and athleticism.

🎯 Camp Takeaways:
• Shined late with well-placed deep throws in 1-on-1s
• Earned high praise from OC Gus Malzahn for his arm talent and mobility
• Also spent time with Mike Norvell and QBs coach Tony Tokarz

Flaherty passed for 1,403 yards and 20 TDs (just 4 INTs) last season — and added 842 yards on the ground. The offense at FSU mirrors what he’s already running, and he said the fit “feels very good.”

Next up for Flaherty: Camps at Florida, UCF, Miami, Boston College, and Illinois — all schools that have already offered.

📅 Decision Timeline:
He hopes to narrow things down by the end of his junior year and lock in visits before senior season prep begins.

And that’s a wrap!

As the temperatures rise, so does the heat in Tallahassee — whether it's U.S. Open qualifiers, top recruits circling the 'Noles, or legends inching closer to Hall of Fame glory.
Keep your sunscreen on and your eyes peeled — June is just getting started. 😎

Catch you tomorrow, Chief.
