Rising junior Luke Clanton and recently graduated senior Frederik Kjettrup from Florida State Men's Golf team have qualified for the U.S. Open at Pinehurst No. 2, taking place from June 13-16.

Qualifying Success:

  • Luke Clanton: Finished in the Top 5 at The Bear's Club in Jupiter, Florida.

  • Frederik Kjettrup: Finished in the Top 3 at The Golf Club of Georgia in Alpharetta.

Historical Achievement: They are the first FSU amateurs to qualify since John Pak in 2020.

Scores:

  • Kjettrup: Shot 66 twice, finishing 12-under.

  • Clanton: Finished fourth at 5-under (70-69).

Notable Mentions:

  • Daniel Berger also qualified, tying for second.

One of the best hitters in Florida State softball history, Kalei Harding, has signed with Athletes Unlimited for their AUX season in Wichita, Kansas, from June 10 to June 25. Harding will join former Seminole Jessi Warren, who was named one of three captains for the league.

  • Eighth in slugging percentage (.310)

Florida State baseball (45-15) will host UConn (35-24) in the Tallahassee Super Regional, the first since 2017. FSU won the Tallahassee Regional with a 3-0 record, while UConn advanced by defeating No. 9 Oklahoma 7-1 in the Norman Regional.

Florida State has extended a scholarship offer to Musa Bajaha, a Class of 2025 offensive line prospect from the Dรผsseldorf Panther U19 team in the German Football League. This is Bajahaโ€™s first offer as he tours American college programs with PPI Recruits.

  • Wingspan: 7'1"

  • Primary Position: Defensive tackle in Germany, training at offensive tackle in the U.S.
