Jeremiah Davis won silver in the men's long jump at the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, marking his second career NCAA runner-up finish with a season-best jump of 8.07m (26-5ยพ). This achievement earned him his third consecutive outdoor first-team All-American honors.
Coach's Praise: Head coach Bob Braman expressed pride in Davis's performance, noting his consistent excellence and hoping for a strong finish in his final collegiate competition.
Other Performances: Jordan Turner placed 16th, Curtis Williams 21st in the long jump, and Tyson Williams finished 17th in the 110-meter hurdles, narrowly missing second-team All-American honors.
Team Standings: The men's team is currently fifth with eight points, while the women's team begins competition on Thursday.

Graduated senior Frederik Kjettrup/from Florida State Men's Golf was named to the Division I PING All-America Second Team, making him the fourth three-time All-American in program history.
Career Highlights:
Third All-America Honor: Received honorable mention in 2022 and 2023.
Senior Season: Recorded a career-low 70.66 stroke average, the eighth-lowest in FSU history.
Top Achievements: Six Top-10 finishes, ACC Co-Medalist, tied for second in the NCAA Stanford Regional, and clinched the putt to send FSU to the National Championship Match.
Historical Standing: Second-lowest career average at FSU (71.29).
Pro Career: Finished eighth in the 2024 PGA TOUR University Rankings, earning exemptions to PGA TOUR Americas and conditional Korn Ferry Tour status.

Peter Varjasi will represent Germany in the men's 4x100 free relay at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

100m Free: Swam a personal best of 48.45 in prelims, securing the top seed, and finished with a silver medal in the finals at 48.57.
Career Highlights:
International Competitions: Represented Germany at the 2023 World Championships and LEN European Championships.
FSU Records: Holds program records in the 100 free (41.86), 200 free (1:32.76), and 100 breast (51.07).
Awards: Eight ACC medals and 14 All-American honors.
Academic Achievements:
Graduation: Graduated in Spring 2024.
Academic Honors: Named to the All-ACC Academic Team three times and CSCAA Scholar All-America twice.
Olympic Legacy:
Varjasi is the first FSU swimmer to represent Germany at the Olympics, joining 26 FSU athletes who have competed in the Games since 1972.
Varjasi will compete on the opening day of the swimming events on July 27 at the Paris La Defense Arena.

Florida State held their first Big Man Camp and 7-on-7 event on Wednesday, resulting in several new offers and noteworthy performances.
Highlights:
Tylan Vickers: Tallahassee (Fla.) Godby 2026 WR received an offer from FSU and stated that FSU is his top choice.
Peyton Miller: Anna (Texas) 2027 OL earned an offer before the camp and worked with OL coach Alex Atkins, praising his direct coaching style.
Asher Ghioto: Jacksonville (Fla.) Bolles 2028 DL received an offer from FSU, fulfilling a childhood dream.
Additional Prospects: Promising performances from several 2026 and 2027 OL and DL prospects. Ocala (Fla.) Vanguard won the 7-on-7 tournament, defeating Tallahassee (Fla.) Rickards in the championship game.
Coaches from Memphis and Marshall were in attendance, along with former FSU assistant Telly Lockette.
