🏀 FSU Women’s Hoops Dominates George Mason, Advances to Round of 32

No. 6 seed Florida State (24-8) made a thunderous return to March Madness, rolling past No. 11 seed George Mason, 94-59, in Baton Rouge on Saturday night. It was the Seminoles' first NCAA Tournament win since 2019—and it came in emphatic fashion.

Mirabel Ting was locked in Saturday as the junior All-American fired a 5-under 67 to build a commanding 11-stroke lead in the individual race and keep No. 7 Florida State on top of the team leaderboard after two rounds of the Florida State Match Up.

Florida State’s 400 medley relay squad capped Day 3 of the NCAA Championships in style, smashing their own school record and earning a top-16 finish to secure All-America honors in Federal Way, Washington.

No. 7 Florida State Beach Volleyball didn’t drop a single court all weekend, cruising to a flawless 4-0 sweep at the Stetson Beach Blast in DeLand. With 5-0 wins over Erskine and Palm Beach Atlantic on Saturday, the Noles improved to 18-3 on the season.

🧠 Norvell + Malzahn = Dynamic Duo
Early returns on the Mike Norvell–Gus Malzahn offensive collaboration have been very positive. Norvell’s now more hands-on with position groups post-play, while Malzahn runs the offensive show — allowing for sharper feedback and tempo.

⚡ QB Room: Steady & Sharp
✅ Tommy Castellanos – Started slow in Skelly, then turned it up with "dimes" and vocal leadership
✅ Brock Glenn – Called “the most consistent passer” through two days
✅ Kevin Sperry – True freshman started 4-for-4 in Skelly on Day 1; Norvell took notice

🏈 “It Got Emotional”: Lasiah Jackson Says FSU Is His Top School After Legacy Weekend

Sometimes, a visit hits different — and for Top247 defensive back Lasiah Jackson, this weekend in Tallahassee wasn’t just about football.

The 6-foot-3, 175-pound Lee County (Ga.) standout made his second trip to FSU for the program’s annual Legacy Weekend, and it left a serious mark.

💬 “It felt a little bit different this time… I got emotional,” Jackson said. “Just thinking about what my future could look like here at FSU.”
