Really excited to see how FSU RB/ATH Jaylin Lucas (5’7/175) bounces back from his torn Meniscus. Looking really smooth so far. One of the most explosive athletes in the country when healthy, and he still has two years left. Had an 82.3 Grade on 19 snaps for FSU before injury

FSU Freshman 1B Myles Bailey (6’4/257) with his First Career Home Run. Had arguably the best raw power in his HS class. Tallahassee native.

🏈 4⭐ LB Adam Balogoun-Ali Keeping Close Eye on FSU
Florida State remains in the mix for 4-star linebacker Adam Balogoun-Ali despite not being on his spring visit schedule. The 6’2”, 205-pound South Florida standout is one of the nation’s top linebacker prospects, with nine spring visits already set, including Missouri, Miami, North Carolina, NC State, Clemson, Auburn, Florida, Colorado, and Penn State.
🔥 Where Does FSU Stand?
Balogoun-Ali visited FSU in January and remains interested in the Seminoles.
He’s built strong relationships with new DC Tony White and LB coach John Papuchis.
White envisions him as a versatile Will linebacker, used for blitzing, coverage, and playmaking.
While FSU isn’t in his spring plans, he expects to take an official visit this summer.
🎤 Balogoun-Ali on FSU:
🗣️ “I love Coach White and the defense he’s going to try to run. He sees me as a Will type guy—I’m blitzing, I’m covering, I’m doing all that.”
🗣️ “I definitely want to see how they bounce back. That will say a lot about their culture.”
📅 Decision Timeline:
Balogoun-Ali plans to commit by the end of August. His final decision will hinge on development, program culture, and how teams handle adversity.
👀 FSU’s Recruiting Edge:
Close connections with current Seminoles Amaree Williams and Ricky Knight (former high school teammates).
If FSU locks in a summer official visit, their chances will rise significantly.

FSU heads west to take on new ACC members California and Stanford in a key road trip.
🏈 4⭐ LB Jordan Campbell Keeping Tabs on FSU Despite Miami Commitment
Although four-star linebacker Jordan Campbell has been committed to Miami since November 2023, Florida State is staying firmly in the mix for the No. 80 overall player and No. 4 linebacker in the 2026 class (247Sports Composite).
🔥 FSU’s Continued Pursuit
Campbell visited FSU in June 2024 for a 7-on-7 camp and received an offer the month prior.
Defensive coordinator Tony White & GM Darrick Yray have been in constant contact.
Multiple FSU staff members visited him in January to emphasize their interest.
🎤 Campbell on FSU:
🗣️ “Definitely Florida State is still in the mix. Coach Tony [White] just hit me up the other day. The general manager at Florida State just hit me up yesterday and the day before too. He has been making it known that I am wanted at Florida State.”
📅 Upcoming Visits?
Campbell has only scheduled one official visit—to Miami (June 20th weekend).
He plans to visit FSU this spring, likely for a spring practice.
Auburn, Florida, Nebraska, and Missouri are also in pursuit.
👀 Is a Flip Possible?
No official 247Sports flip predictions yet.
His FSU spring visit could be a key step in shifting momentum.
🏈 4⭐ TE Corbyn Fordham Keeping Options Open, Sets FSU Visit
Florida State continues its push to flip four-star tight end Corbyn Fordham, a legacy recruit currently committed to Ohio State. The Jacksonville (Bolles School) standout will visit FSU for spring practice on March 22 and is planning an official visit as well.
🔥 FSU’s Continued Pursuit
Fordham committed to Ohio State in November 2024 but visited FSU in January to keep his options open.
Tight ends coach Chris Thomsen has built a strong relationship with him.
His father, Todd Fordham, played for FSU from 1992-1996.
🎤 Fordham on His Recruitment:
🗣️ "I really went over [to FSU in January] to keep the recruiting process going. If anything was to happen, I want to have a backup plan."
📅 Upcoming Visits
✅ March 22 – FSU Spring Practice (Legacy Weekend)
✅ TBA – Official Visit to FSU
👀 Could a Flip Happen?
Fordham remains firm in his Ohio State commitment, citing their recruiting effort, culture, and national championship win.
However, his continued visits suggest FSU still has a chance to make an impression.
No flip predictions yet on 247Sports.
