🔥 Noles Storm Back, Walk Off Jacksonville 🔥

Florida State turned a disastrous first inning into another Howser Stadium celebration.

The No. 20 Seminoles erased a 5–0 deficit and walked off Jacksonville 7–6 Tuesday night, extending their winning streak to five games and improving to 9–2 on the season.

💥 Early Punch, Quick Response

  • Jacksonville jumped ahead 5–0 in the first inning

  • FSU answered immediately with three runs in the bottom of the first

  • The Seminoles added one run in both the second and third innings to tie the game

Instead of letting the early avalanche bury them, Florida State chipped away inning by inning.

🚀 Key Offensive Moments

  • Brody DeLamielleure: 2 hits, HR, 2 RBI, 2 runs

  • John Stuetzer: 3 hits, 2 RBI (second straight game with three hits)

  • Hunter Carns: leadoff double in the ninth that started the winning rally

DeLamielleure’s solo homer in the third tied the game, while Stuetzer’s bunt single in the fifth helped give FSU its first lead.

🔒 Bullpen Locks It Down

  • Kevin Mebil: 2.2 IP, 0 hits allowed

  • Gabe Nard: 2.0 scoreless innings

  • John Abraham: 2.2 IP, 6 strikeouts, earned the win

Abraham’s late strikeout bursts kept Jacksonville from regaining momentum in the final frames.

🏆 Walk-Off Moment

With the bases loaded in the ninth, Eli Putnam delivered the game-winner; a hard-hit single to left-center on an 0–2 count that brought home Carns.

It marked FSU’s second walk-off win in three games.

📊 By the Numbers

  • FSU: 7 runs, 12 hits

  • Jacksonville: 6 runs, 10 hits

  • Series record vs JU improves to 140–42 all-time

The Seminoles have now won nine straight against Jacksonville and 12 of the last 13 since 2022.

🧠 Big Picture

Good teams win when everything is going right. Great teams win when it starts going wrong.

Down five runs before the first inning ended, Florida State never rushed the comeback. The bullpen stabilized the game, the lineup kept stacking pressure, and the rally eventually came.

That’s now two walk-offs in three games and the kind of resilience that often shows up in good March teams.

📍 What’s Next

Florida State continues the midweek slate against Mercer on Wednesday at 5 p.m. ET at Dick Howser Stadium.

🏐🌟 Durish & Koenig Named Big 12 Pair of the Week 🌟🏐

🏌️ Weaver Leads the Way

  • Tyler Weaver: T-11 at 3-under (210)

🏌️ Supporting Scores

  • Sophia Fullbrook: 72 (+1), T-9

  • Haruhi Nakatani: 71 (E), three birdies in Round Two

Fullbrook has now remained inside the top 10 through two rounds, while Nakatani provided another steady counting score.

🧠 Big Picture

Florida State has positioned itself exactly where elite teams want to be; in the final group with a chance to win.

With Pudas Remler one shot off the lead and multiple Seminoles contributing steady rounds, Wednesday becomes less about chasing and more about executing under pressure.

📍 What’s Next

The final round begins Wednesday, with FSU paired alongside Texas and Arkansas in the championship grouping.

🥎🔥 No. 10 Noles Stay Rolling as Road Tests Approach 🔥🥎

Florida State continues stacking momentum but the schedule is about to shift.

  • Jazzy Francik: 7–1 record, 1.71 ERA

  • Jaysoni Beachum: .423 average, 4 HR, 21 RBI

📊 Road Momentum

  • FSU is 5–5 in true road games
