☀️ Summer Surge in FSU Football Recruiting 📈

Florida State football is gearing up for a busy recruiting period as official visits kick off next week in Tallahassee. From May 31 through June 23, the Seminoles are set to host up to 45 top targets. With the early signing period moved up to December 4-6, summer visits are crucial.

“Huge — especially with signing day moving up a few weeks,” said FSU coach Mike Norvell. “We will still have some fall official visits, but we’re expecting between 30 to 45 visits this summer.”

High-profile prospects, including five-star offensive linemen Josh Petty and Ty Haywood, are among the visitors. Norvell emphasized the importance of summer visits for finding the best fit and showcasing the program's vision.

The early signing period now preceding the transfer portal window is seen positively by Norvell. “It puts a bigger emphasis in the summer time,” he said. “But also, you still have your in-season official visits, which some kids really like — to see the atmosphere and experience game day.”

Despite discussions about a potential summer signing period, Norvell prefers the current setup. “I think the importance of that senior year is big,” he added, highlighting the value of late evaluations and incentives for continued player development.

FSU fans can look forward to fast-paced and exciting recruiting action this summer as the Seminoles aim to secure top talent and capitalize on the program’s momentum.

And that’s a wrap!

From exciting advancements in softball to pivotal recruiting visits and preparations for the ACC Championship in baseball, the week ahead is packed with action.

Stay tuned for more updates and cheer on our teams as they strive for greatness.

Have a great day and Go Noles! 🍢🏹
