In a thrilling rematch from the ACC Championship, No. 5 seed Florida State Men's Golf defeated North Carolina (3-1) and Georgia Tech (3-2) to advance to its first NCAA Match Play Championship at Omni La Costa North Course in Carlsbad, Calif.

The Seminoles will face Auburn on Wednesday night at 5:25 p.m. ET/2:25 p.m. PT, with live coverage starting at 6-10 p.m. ET on the Golf Channel.

• Frederik Kjettrup: Sealed the ACC Semifinal against Georgia Tech with a winning putt on the 17th hole, securing FSU's spot in the National Championship Match.

• Tyler Weaver: Went 2-0, including a clinching putt against UNC and a win over Georgia Tech’s Kale Fontenot on the 19th hole.

• Four-star LB Jakaleb Faulk:

  • Background: Auburn commit, younger brother of DE Keldric Faulk who also committed to Auburn after previously being committed to FSU.

For the first time in Mike Norvell's tenure, FSU will not hold their Mega Camp in early June. Instead, the Seminoles' coaches will attend various satellite camps across the country to scout new talent.

• TCU's DFW Showcase: FSU coaches will join programs like Auburn, Oregon, Missouri, BYU, and others in Texas to evaluate emerging talent.

• SMU's Dallas Showcase: Coaches will observe hundreds of prospects alongside teams like Michigan, Utah, and Ole Miss.

• Kennesaw State's Mega Camp: FSU will scout Georgia's recruits, including four-star OL target Micah Smith.

• Mercer's Total Exposure Mega Camp: Seminoles will attend this camp in Georgia with programs like Michigan, Auburn, and Miami. Micah Smith also plans to attend.

Every recruiting cycle, some recruits reconsider their early commitments, and Florida State is actively pursuing several top prospects for potential flips in the 2025 class.
