In a remarkable season, Jordan Travis, Florida State's quarterback, has not only earned the title of ACC's Player of the Year but also claimed the Offensive Player of the Year award.
Travis's performance has been nothing short of exceptional. He achieved 2,756 passing yards, delivered 20 touchdowns with just two interceptions, and added 176 rushing yards with seven more touchdowns.
These numbers alone distinguish him as a standout player, but it's his overall impact on the team that truly sets him apart.
Travis's ability to lead the Seminoles to an undefeated 8-0 record in ACC play is a testament to his skill and leadership.
This marked Florida State's 10th unbeaten conference record and the first since 2014. Throughout the season, he displayed incredible consistency and composure, making him a three-time ACC Quarterback of the Week honoree.
His journey began with a bang, starting the season with a career-high four touchdown passes and a fifth touchdown on the ground in a victory over No. 5 LSU.
In the second half of that game, Travis achieved an ESPN QBR of 99.9, a rating that hasn't been seen in a half against a ranked opponent since Jameis Winston in 2013.
One of Travis's most impressive feats is becoming the only player in FSU history and one of only three active players nationally to record at least seven rushing touchdowns in four consecutive seasons. His 31 career rushing touchdowns place him fourth on FSU's all-time list.
Additionally, he's tied with Jameis Winston for second place in FSU history with 65 passing touchdowns. Travis is the only player in the program's history to rank in the top 10 for both career passing and rushing touchdowns.
Travis's impact isn't limited to the record books. He has consistently put points on the scoreboard, achieving a program-record streak of 16 straight games accounting for multiple touchdowns.
He also tied his own school record with a streak of four consecutive games with at least one rushing and one passing touchdown.
His contributions extend beyond scoring, as he's showcased impressive ball security with a stretch of 184 consecutive passes without an interception, making him one of the few in FSU history to achieve this feat.
Despite a season-ending injury, Travis's impact on Florida State's success this season cannot be overstated.
His leadership, consistency, and record-breaking performances have earned him the ACC's highest individual honors.
This marks the seventh time a Florida State player has been named ACC Player of the Year and the first since Jameis Winston in 2013.
As Florida State prepares to face Louisville in the ACC Championship Game, Jordan Travis's presence on the field will undoubtedly be a game-changer.
His remarkable journey from West Palm Beach to becoming an ACC Player of the Year is a testament to his dedication, skill, and the indelible mark he's left on the Seminoles' football program. 🏈🌟🏆

The ACC Championship Game is almost here, and our Florida State Seminoles are gearing up to face the Louisville Cardinals.
It's going to be a nail-biter, with the Seminoles coming in as the favorites with a spread of -2.5.
The game will kick off from Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina on December 2, 2023, starting at 8:00 PM ET and airing on ABC.
Now, let's talk about the matchup. The Cardinals step onto the field holding a record of 10-2 this year.
In their last contest, they faced off with the Kentucky Wildcats and unfortunately walked away with a loss by a score of 38-31.
On the other hand, our Seminoles are coming in hot with a perfect 12-0 record for the season. In their last game, they secured a solid victory against the Florida Gators with a final score of 24-15.
When it comes to scoring points, the Cardinals hold an average of 33.0 points per game, while the Seminoles rank 10th in college football, scoring an average of 38.8 PPG.
In terms of defense, the Seminoles are conceding 16.8 PPG, which puts them 11th in the country. The betting insights suggest that Florida State is favored to win, with a prediction of Florida State 32, Louisville 21.
However, some experts believe that Louisville has the potential to pull off an upset, so it's definitely a game to watch.
The strengths and weaknesses of the Louisville Cardinals and the Florida State Seminoles can be summarized as follows:
Louisville Cardinals:
Strengths: The Cardinals have an average of 33.0 points per game and a solid rushing offense, averaging 183.5 yards on the ground, ranking them 34th in Division 1. They have compiled 5,263 total yards this season and have 260 first downs as a unit.
Weaknesses: Louisville's defense, although seen as an overall strength of the team, has shown weaknesses in allowing big plays. They have conceded an average of 217.9 passing yards per contest and are giving up a completion percentage of 55.3%. They have also struggled under pressure, with their quarterback completing only 48% on less than five yards per pass attempt.
Florida State Seminoles:
Strengths: The Seminoles have an impressive record of 12-0 for the season and are known for their strong offense, averaging 432.8 yards per contest, which ranks them 30th in college football. They also have a strong defense, conceding only 16.8 points per game, which puts them 11th in the country.
Weaknesses: The Seminoles are facing a challenge with the loss of their star quarterback, Jordan Travis. This has impacted their performance, and the betting market has adjusted their line accordingly. The Seminoles' offensive performance has been affected by the absence of Travis, and they will need to adapt to this change in the ACC Championship Game.
Both teams have their strengths and weaknesses, and the ACC Championship Game is expected to be a closely contested match.
The Cardinals have a strong defense but have shown vulnerability and inconsistency on both sides of the ball, while the Seminoles have a solid record and defense but are facing challenges due to the absence of their star quarterback.
