🌟 Recruiting Heats Up with High-Profile Visits
FSU is making moves with 2025 recruits, hosting four-star WR Tae’shaun Gelsey and solidifying commitments with four-star QB Tramell Jones and TE Chase Loftin. As competition intensifies, the Seminoles are keeping top prospects engaged, and a strong finish could make all the difference.

🏈 Defensive Dominance at Practice
The Seminoles prepared for Notre Dame with an intense Tuesday practice, led by Darrell Jackson and Patrick Payton on defense. WR Elijah Moore impressed with acrobatic catches, while QBs Glenn and Kromenhoek focused on consistency as FSU readies for Saturday’s primetime clash.

🎾 FSU Women's Tennis Duo Heads to ITA Conference Masters Championship 🎾

Florida State’s Juliana Parra Romero and Millie Bissett are set to compete in the ITA Conference Masters Championship in Rome, Georgia, starting this Thursday. The 34th-ranked duo has been impressive this fall, notching five wins, including two against ranked opponents.

🔥 Season Highlights
Parra Romero and Bissett advanced to the main draw round of 16 at the ITA Women’s All-American Championships with victories over notable pairs, including the 51st-ranked duo from Arkansas and the No. 23-ranked team from Tennessee. They also reached the main draw quarterfinals at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships, defeating Kennesaw State and FIU’s teams by decisive 8-1 scores.

🏆 Chasing Glory in Rome
With strong momentum from their fall season, Parra Romero and Bissett aim to make their mark at the ITA Conference Masters Championship, running from November 7-10.

🏈 FSU Targets JUCO WR Jordan Scott as Potential 2025 Addition 🏈

With all three wide receiver commitments from the 2025 recruiting class no longer in the fold, Florida State is actively seeking new pass-catching talent across high school and JUCO ranks. Today, the Seminoles extended an offer to Jordan Scott, a towering 6-foot-7, 215-pound three-star wideout from Southwest Mississippi Community College.

🔥 New Opportunity
Scott, ranked as the No. 1 JUCO receiver by 247Sports Composite, expressing excitement about his conversation with head coach Mike Norvell. The Seminoles could pitch Scott as the next Johnny Wilson, given their similar size and playstyle; Wilson posted 1,514 yards and seven touchdowns in two seasons at FSU.

🏆 Options on the Table
Scott, with offers from Georgia State, Coastal Carolina, UMass, Temple, and Western Michigan, would have two years of eligibility remaining. FSU hopes he’ll see Tallahassee as the perfect next step in his collegiate career.

🌟 RB Commit Byron Louis Remains Optimistic Despite FSU Struggles 🌟

Florida State running back commitment Byron Louis was back in Tallahassee this past weekend to witness FSU’s game against North Carolina. While the Seminoles fell short with a 35-11 loss, Louis saw hope in how the team responded postgame. “They’re still holding their heads up high. They know that the future is brighter,” he shared, encouraged by the resilience within the program.

🤝 Unity in the 2025 Class
Louis emphasized the strong bond among his recruiting class, explaining that they speak weekly to stay aligned on their goals for FSU. “We all just want to come in, put our heads down, and work... We’re going to bring Florida State back to what it was,” he said.

🏈 Commitment Remains Firm
Despite contact from other schools, Louis is committed to the ‘Noles. He plans to return for FSU’s season finale against Florida and is eager to bring a physical, workhorse mentality to the backfield. As a senior, he’s totaled 990 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns in eight games.

🌟 FSU Ramps Up Recruiting with Four High-Profile Visits, Keeping 2025 Class Strong 🌟

This past weekend, Florida State’s football staff made headway with key 2025 recruits, hosting four official visitors and reinforcing the commitment of existing recruits. The Seminoles are determined to lock down a strong class amid on-field struggles, and while competition remains fierce, the outlook for these high-value players looks promising.

🟠 Tae’shaun Gelsey - WR, Committed to Florida
Florida State hosted four-star wide receiver and current Florida commit Tae’shaun Gelsey, aiming to flip him from the Gators. Gelsey, impressed by FSU’s vision for his role as a big-bodied wideout, appreciated the comparison to former Seminoles Johnny Wilson and Keon Coleman. “It was cool getting to see the other side of FSU that’s not football,” Gelsey remarked. “It’s good to know I won’t have to change my position.” While still committed to UF, Gelsey’s interest in FSU is growing, and he’s considering a return visit for the FSU-Florida game later this month.

🌟 Jayvan Boggs - WR, Committed to UCF
Four-star receiver Jayvan Boggs extended his visit longer than expected, staying until Monday morning. Boggs expressed a strong connection with head coach Mike Norvell and the coaching staff and has shown a growing interest in FSU’s offensive plans. While not officially on “flip watch” just yet, Boggs could be back in Tallahassee for the upcoming UF-FSU game, hinting at potential movement in his recruitment.

🔵 Chase Loftin - TE, Committed to FSU
Four-star tight end commit Chase Loftin remains loyal to the ‘Noles despite an enticing recent visit to Nebraska. Loftin praised FSU’s development at the tight end position, especially seeing freshman players Landen Thomas and Amaree Williams getting game time. Loftin is considering a visit for FSU’s final home game of the year against Florida, aiming to reconnect with the coaching staff and reaffirm his commitment.

🔴 Tramell Jones - QB, Committed to FSU
Four-star quarterback Tramell Jones, a vital piece of FSU’s future, reaffirmed his commitment to the Seminoles, though UF is actively pushing for a flip. Jones described his weekend visit as a chance to see glimpses of the offense’s potential and expressed optimism about Norvell’s rebuilding process. While the Gators remain a factor, FSU’s solid communication with Jones gives confidence he will stay with the ‘Noles unless a visit to UF materializes.

🔄 Looking Forward
The Seminoles made progress with other visitors, including four-star defensive end Tobi Haastrup and three-star defensive lineman Jeramiah McCloud, with Haastrup considering a potential return visit. FSU’s emphasis on unity, development, and early playing opportunities resonated with recruits, bolstering optimism for the 2025 class.

🏈 FSU Preps for Notre Dame with Defensive Dominance at Practice 🏈

Florida State was back on the practice field Tuesday, preparing for its upcoming challenge against No. 8 Notre Dame. The energy was high, with head coach Mike Norvell praising the team's effort and focus. Here’s a look at some standout moments:

🔥 Defensive Dominance Up Front
The defense led the day, with Darrell Jackson and Patrick Payton delivering standout performances. Jackson impressed in run defense, while Payton applied consistent pressure. Coach Odell Haggins commended Jackson for his resilience against double teams and solid block management. Dante Anderson also played with high energy, routinely disrupting runs at the point of attack.

🎯 Elijah Moore Shines on Offense
Freshman wide receiver Elijah Moore caught attention with multiple acrobatic catches, including a one-handed sideline grab. Coach Norvell singled out Moore for his consistency and ability to build on in-game experiences, appreciating how Moore is capitalizing on his opportunities.

🔄 Quarterback Consistency Push
Quarterbacks Brock Glenn and Luke Kromenhoek had mixed performances, delivering precise downfield throws but missing on a few open targets. Kromenhoek connected with BJ Gibson for a big gain but was also intercepted by Ja’Bril Rawls, emphasizing the team’s focus on consistency and decision-making.

🛡️ Standout Defensive Backs
CB Charles Lester made an impact with tight coverage and physicality in run support, while safety Conrad Hussey faced coaching feedback on playing with controlled intensity. Coaches are working to channel his energy into a more disciplined approach.

With sights set on Notre Dame, the Seminoles aim to carry this high-energy practice into Saturday’s matchup in South Bend.

And that’s a wrap!

As the season progresses, the Seminoles are digging deep, keeping their eyes set on rebuilding and reinforcing for a brighter tomorrow. Whether it’s in practice, recruiting, or on the field, every effort is a step toward restoring FSU’s legacy. Keep showing up, ‘Noles — the best is yet to come!

Till next time
