šŸˆ Recruiting Rundown: FSU Faces Key Decisions as Early Signing Period Nears šŸˆ

With the Early Signing Period kicking off on December 4, FSU’s No. 47 ranked recruiting class hangs in the balance amid a challenging 1-8 season. Here’s the latest on FSU’s recruiting targets and the commitment questions swirling around.

QB Tramell Jones Update
Rumors are growing that four-star QB commit Tramell Jones Jr. may be considering a flip to Florida after FSU’s recent loss to UNC. While Jones hasn’t informed FSU of any changes, Florida sources are confident in their chances with him. Jones had flirted with UF in the spring before solidifying his FSU commitment over the summer. With FSU struggling on the field, UF may have an opportunity to sway him.

Official Visit Intel

  • WR Jayvan Boggs: FSU made a strong impression on Boggs, who’s currently pledged to UCF. While a flip isn’t immediate, FSU’s chances have improved with the Cocoa (Fla.) wide receiver.

  • WR Tae’shaun Gelsey: The Florida commit enjoyed his visit to FSU, and sources suggest FSU has a shot to flip him after his playoff run this month.

  • Edge Tobi Haastrup: A late defensive end target, Haastrup values academics and has visited top academic schools. FSU made strides during his visit but faces competition from schools like Virginia and Michigan.

  • DT Jeramiah McCloud: The Florida commit is likely heading to Georgia, making an FSU flip unlikely.

  • RB Ousmane Kromah: Despite his visit, Kromah, committed to Georgia, is unlikely to flip given FSU’s current struggles.

FSU’s recruiting team is in for a crucial month as they work to solidify and potentially strengthen their class amidst a challenging season.

And that’s a wrap!
