Excitement to Join FSU’s Youth Movement:
Loftin was encouraged by seeing true freshmen Landen Thomas and Amaree Williams make plays against Clemson. “I’m excited to be in that room with those guys,” he said, eager to contribute early when he arrives in Tallahassee.
Loftin may attend FSU’s game against Florida, and while he keeps light contact with other programs, he says he’s “pretty locked in” with the Seminoles.
📈 FSU Extends Offer to Fast-Rising Defensive Line Prospect Christian Ingram 📈
Florida State has entered the race for defensive lineman Christian Ingram, a fast-rising three-star prospect from Covington, Georgia. Ingram, who recently started garnering national attention, now holds offers from 10 Power Four schools, all received within the last month.
After a great conversation with coach @odellhaggins I’m blessed to receive an offer from Florida state!!! #goseminoles🍢
— Christian Ingram 4⭐️ (@imcingram)
7:44 PM • Oct 11, 2024
The Seminoles’ offer was made by longtime defensive line coach Odell Haggins, a legendary figure at FSU, which left a strong impression on the young prospect. “My reaction was amazing… just knowing a man of that legacy wants me feels like a blessing,” Ingram said of Haggins, who has been at FSU for over 30 years and developed numerous NFL players.
Ingram's athleticism and skill have quickly elevated his recruiting profile, and he feels the interest validates his hard work. “It feels great knowing all my hard work paid off, and I stayed humble,” Ingram shared, reflecting on the journey that has led him to this point.
Coach Haggins has also encouraged Ingram to visit Tallahassee to get a real feel for FSU’s program, which is known for developing elite defensive linemen. Ingram is strongly considering a trip to Florida State, especially now that he holds an official offer. “The way they can develop their defensive line to me is very unique. I love it,” he added, noting FSU’s strong NFL pipeline.
Currently, Ingram has official visits lined up to Kentucky and Vanderbilt, along with unofficial trips to powerhouse programs like Alabama, Clemson, and Georgia. Though Vanderbilt leads in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine with a 52.1% chance, FSU’s involvement could influence Ingram’s decision as his recruitment continues to gain momentum.
🏈 FSU Expands Receiver Recruiting with Three New Four-Star Offers 🏈
After recent decommitments from four-star wideouts Malik Clark and Daylan McCutcheon, Florida State’s coaching staff has expanded their 2025 receiver board with three new offers:
Jayvan Boggs – UCF Commit
Currently the highest-rated prospect in UCF’s 2025 class, Boggs has shown previous interest in FSU, last visiting for their 2022 win over Georgia Tech. As a top-250 recruit, the Seminoles hope to rekindle their connection and potentially flip this talented Cocoa Beach wideout.
Donovan Murph – South Carolina Lean
Irmo, S.C., native Murph has strong ties to South Carolina, with a 94% commitment prediction for the Gamecocks. However, FSU offers him potential playing time in 2025, adding appeal to their offer.
Tae’Shaun Gelsey – Florida Commit
FSU sees Florida commit Gelsey, a top-250 national prospect, as a wide receiver rather than a tight end. The Seminoles’ in-state proximity and unique pitch could make FSU a viable option as he considers his future.
And that’s a wrap!
This week, we watched the Noles break records, secure game-changing wins, and expand our roster with promising talent. With every pass, goal, and new commitment, FSU’s momentum is building stronger. Stay tuned and keep the Garnet and Gold pride alive! Go Noles! 🍢
