With many transfers leaving Florida State over the past few seasons, it’s always interesting to see how they are faring at their new programs. Here’s a look at some of the notable former Seminoles and their performances this season:
Tate Rodemaker (Southern Miss, QB): After starting the season, Rodemaker has since been benched, recording 580 passing yards, 4 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions through five games.
Keon Coleman (Buffalo Bills, WR): Coleman had his first career 100-yard game for the Bills, catching 4 passes for 125 yards.
Rodney Hill (Arkansas, RB): Hill has been part of the Razorbacks' running back rotation, with 15 carries for 78 yards and a touchdown.
Markeston Douglas (Arizona State, TE): Douglas has had limited action, with only 1 reception for 3 yards this season.
Bless Harris (TCU, OL): Harris has started every game at left tackle for TCU, earning strong grades, particularly in pass protection.
Gilber Edmond (South Carolina, DL): Edmond has played as a backup edge rusher, contributing 10 tackles and 1 sack this season.
Greedy Vance (USC, DB): Vance is starting at nickel for the Trojans, recording 16 tackles and a pass breakup with a solid 76.9 PFF grade.
This recap shows that while some former Noles are thriving, others have struggled to find their place at their new programs.
🏈 FSU Defense Gears Up for Miami's Explosive Offense 🏈
Adam Fuller says scout-team quarterback Trever Jackson has done a great job all year preparing FSU's defense for facing the numerous dual-threat quarterbacks it has gone against.

The Florida State defense faces its toughest test yet as it prepares for Miami’s high-powered offense, led by Heisman candidate Cam Ward. The Hurricanes, ranked No. 1 in the nation in total offense and No. 2 in scoring offense, will put pressure on the Seminoles’ defense Saturday night.
Ward’s Stats:
Passing Yards: 2,538 (No. 1 in the nation)
Touchdowns: 24 passing, 3 rushing
Completion Rate: 69%
Key Challenge: Miami’s success on third downs, converting over 60% of the time, has been fueled by Ward’s ability to extend plays and find his receivers, even when under pressure.
Defensive coordinator Adam Fuller is confident in his squad but recognizes the monumental challenge ahead: “In the moments they’ve needed to execute, they end up executing ... We’ll see how that plays out for them.”
The Seminoles are coming off their best defensive performance of the season, holding Duke to under 200 yards. However, this Miami offense presents a far more explosive challenge.
And that’s a wrap!
As the excitement builds with every game, practice, and new recruit, we’re here to keep you informed every step of the way.
Whether it’s on the golf course, the basketball court, or the football field, FSU athletes are making their mark.
Keep your spirit high, and let’s continue to cheer on our Noles as they take on the challenges ahead!
Stay tuned, stay hyped, and as always—Go Noles! 🌴🍢
