Miami vs. FSU Football Predictions

With Florida State (1-6) visiting undefeated No. 6 Miami (7-0) this Saturday, here’s how experts and insiders foresee this showdown between two of college football’s fiercest rivals. Here's the complete lineup of score predictions:
Noles247 Staff Predictions
Trey Rowland (Noles247):
“The last vestiges of hope I had for this season were extinguished… Pain. Lots of pain… Using his newly acquired Ward of Mass Destruction, I think he achieves his dastardly goal.”
Prediction: Miami 45, FSU 9
Dane Draper (Noles247):
“If this game isn’t over by the 1st half, I trust Cam Ward will put the nail in the coffin early in the 2nd.”
Prediction: Miami 48, FSU 14
Coach Adam Brown (Noles247):
“Cristobal wasn’t concerned with the perceived running up of the score by Norvell in 2022. Now, we’ve reached that point a lot quicker than expected.”
Prediction: Miami 49, FSU 6
Clay Fink (Noles247):
“Hard to find a path to victory for the Noles that isn’t relying on some weird rivalry game magic.”
Prediction: Miami 55, FSU 7
Brendan Sonnone (Noles247):
“Was gonna include ways in which FSU could somehow pull off the upset. But I’d rather get this over with.”
Prediction: Miami 49, FSU 10
Kevin Little (Noles247):
“Cam Ward is the best QB in CFB right now… Without him, Miami is looking down the barrel of a 4-3 season. Unfortunately, they have him.”
Prediction: Miami 42, FSU 17
Brett Nevitt (Noles247):
“Cam Ward is going to put up a lot of points on FSU’s defense. They’ll have plenty of possessions due to FSU’s inability to stay on the field.”
Prediction: Miami 45, FSU 9
Zach Blostein (Noles247):
“I think Miami will win big here.”
Prediction: Miami 45, FSU 13
Chris Nee (Noles247):
“Cam Ward has protected the ball while making the spectacular. I don’t see the Seminoles winning on defense.”
Prediction: Miami 38, FSU 16
Warchant Staff Predictions
Ira Schoffel (Warchant):
“Miami’s offense has been lighting up opponents all season. With the way FSU’s defense has struggled, this could get out of hand quickly.”
Prediction: Miami 52, FSU 10
Corey Clark (Warchant):
“This game has all the makings of a one-sided affair. Cam Ward is too much for this FSU defense.”
Prediction: Miami 49, FSU 13
Aslan Hajivandi (Warchant):
“Even with FSU’s defense showing a bit of fight, Miami’s offense will be too explosive. The Hurricanes have a lot of motivation to put this game away early.”
Prediction: Miami 48, FSU 7
Tom Lang (Warchant):
“Rivalry games can get weird, but there’s a big talent gap in this one. Miami controls this one start to finish.”
Prediction: Miami 45, FSU 10
Tomahawk Nation Staff Predictions
NoleThruandThru (Tomahawk Nation):
“Free the young WRs! Free the young OL! Free the young DBs! You’re gonna get throttled either way, so play the guys who care.”
Prediction: Miami 41, FSU 19
Matt Minnick (Tomahawk Nation):
“FSU’s offense is the worst in the FBS. Unacceptable in every way.”
Prediction: Miami 41, FSU 13
Jordan Silversmith (Tomahawk Nation):
“Miami’s defense ranks 9th in sacks, and FSU ranks 111th in sacks allowed per game.”
Prediction: Miami 41, FSU 17
Jon Marchant (Tomahawk Nation):
“The entire reason they lost was the offense. The worst in the FBS.”
Prediction: Miami 42, FSU 13
FrankDNole (Tomahawk Nation):
“FSU will beat Miami because the Seminole players will want it more, give more effort, and play with more heart.”
Prediction: FSU 28, Miami 26
Perry Kostidakis (Tomahawk Nation):
“There’s no chance Cristobal… takes the chance to stomp the Seminoles lightly.”
Prediction: Miami 49, FSU 16
