💥 FSU Offers 2025 DE Tobi Haastrup Amid Recruitment Shift 💥

Following the decommitment of Javion Hilson, Florida State extended an offer to 2025 defensive end Tobi Haastrup from Houston, Texas.

Haastrup, who just began playing football in his senior year, has drawn attention after recording five sacks in his debut game.

FSU highlighted its history of producing top NFL talent, which intrigued Haastrup, though all schools remain on an even playing field as he continues his research.

💥 Four-Star Lineman PJ Dean Talks Top Schools, Recruitment Focus 💥

Class of 2026 four-star lineman Pierre "PJ" Dean shared his top six schools: Georgia, Alabama, Florida State, NC State, Ohio State, and South Carolina.

Dean emphasized his connection with coaches and his family, especially his mom, as crucial factors in his recruitment decision.

Although his brother plays at Georgia, he says it won't be the deciding factor.

Dean plays both offensive and defensive line, though he may focus on defense in college.

🔥 Four-Star LB Tarvos Alford Discusses FSU, Ohio State Commitment 🔥

Despite being committed to Ohio State since March, four-star linebacker Tarvos Alford is still weighing his options. Florida State remains a key contender in his recruitment, especially with Alford visiting Tallahassee for the Seminoles’ game against Memphis.

Alford wants to see how FSU responds to their challenging 0-2 start and is focused on how the program fosters a strong sense of family.

Miami is also back in the picture, with Alford visiting the Hurricanes recently.

🔥 FSU Prepares for Memphis: Intensity Rises as Players Reflect on Past Turnarounds 🔥

Florida State returned to the practice field with renewed energy, preparing for their upcoming game against Memphis after a challenging 0-2 start.

Coach Mike Norvell emphasized focusing on details and enjoying the game as the team looked sharper and more consistent during drills.

Running back Roydell Williams stood out with solid runs, while defensive highlights came from Patrick Payton and Azareye'h Thomas.

Notably, redshirt freshman Samuel Singleton impressed coaches with his vision and strong performance, capitalizing on increased playing time due to Jaylin Lucas’ season-ending injury.

In the passing game, both DJ Uiagalelei and backup quarterbacks Brock Glenn and Luke Kromenhoek displayed improvements in team drills.

Glenn impressed with well-timed throws to receivers Darion Williamson and Ja'Khi Douglas, while Kromenhoek showcased his arm talent, connecting with Elijah Moore and Lawayne McCoy.

The wide receiver group, particularly Malik Benson and Kentron Poitier, received praise for route adjustments and chemistry with the quarterbacks.

Practice also featured extensive goal-line work, with FSU emphasizing physicality and execution in short-yardage situations.

Running backs Caziah Holmes and Micahi Danzy took advantage of their opportunities, showing dynamic running abilities.

Tight ends Kyle Morlock and Jackson West provided key targets for Uiagalelei, with Morlock delivering a standout performance after struggling earlier in the week.

Norvell, having navigated an 0-4 start in 2021, encouraged his players to approach practice with the same tenacity and belief that sparked their previous turnaround.

Veterans like Ja’khi Douglas and Kevin Knowles reminded younger teammates of the importance of perseverance, emphasizing the power of maintaining positive energy and fun on the field.

The defense, led by Grady Kelly, Byron Turner, and DeMarco Ward, showed their potential, disrupting offensive plays and creating pressure in the backfield.

Defensive backs Shyheim Brown and Conrad Hussey made key plays in coverage, while linebackers Blake Nichelson and DeMarco Ward excelled in one-on-one matchups.

As the Seminoles prepare for Memphis, the team draws on past experience, looking to channel that resilience into their performance.

Both the offensive and defensive units are working to sharpen fundamentals, improve consistency, and approach the game with confidence and enjoyment, as Norvell continues to emphasize the importance of playing with passion and intensity.

This matchup will be crucial for Florida State as they seek to regain momentum and prove that their slow start does not define their season.
