Senior Michael Mays led Florida State Men’s Golf in the first round of the Folds of Honor Collegiate, tied for 10th place individually with a score of 71.

The team finished the day in a tie for seventh overall.

Mays recorded four birdies, with a strong finish on the final six holes. Freshman standout Weaver also had a solid round, finishing tied for 15th.

The Seminoles will look to climb the leaderboard as they continue the tournament alongside Illinois and Air Force.

🏌️‍♀️ FSU Women’s Golf Shines in First Round of Folds of Honor Collegiate 🏌️‍♀️

All-American junior Mirabel Ting shot a 2-under-par 70, securing third place individually, while the No. 6 ranked FSU Women’s Golf Team holds fourth place after round one of the Folds of Honor Collegiate.

Joining Ting in the top 10 are All-American Lottie Woad, who is tied for fifth with a 71, and freshman Sophia Fullbrook, tied for 10th with a 73.

FSU will continue their strong performance in the second round on Tuesday, with tee times beginning at 12:45 p.m.

⚾ Drew Linder Joins FSU Baseball as Director of Operations ⚾

Florida State head coach Link Jarrett announced Drew Linder as the new Director of Operations for FSU Baseball.

A former FSU student assistant and Jacksonville native, Linder returns after spending 2024 at North Florida and five seasons at Pittsburgh under former FSU pitching coach Mike Bell.

Linder will handle travel logistics, practice setup, recruiting, and MLB Draft analysis for the Seminoles.

His vast experience in player development and recruiting will be invaluable as FSU navigates an increasingly competitive recruiting landscape.

🏐 FSU Volleyball Prepares for Showdown Against North Florida 🏐

The No. 21 Florida State volleyball team (4-1) heads to Jacksonville to face North Florida (3-4) on Tuesday evening at 5 p.m. on ESPN+.

Coming off a split weekend at Auburn, FSU will look to build on standout performances from Audrey Koenig, who surpassed 1,000 career kills, and newcomer Iane Henke, who impressed in her debut. UNF enters the matchup after a 1-2 showing at the Islanders Classic.

🎾 Defending ACC Champions FSU Men’s Tennis Unveils Fall 2024 Schedule 🎾

The Florida State men's tennis team announced their fall 2024 schedule, featuring three home tournaments and eight total competitions.

The Seminoles will host events such as the UTR $25K Pro Tournament and ITA South Sectional Championship.

They’ll also compete in top tournaments like the ITA All-American Championships in Oklahoma and the Bedford Cup in Gainesville.

FSU returns six players from last season’s ACC championship squad, including four seniors, and welcomes a talented freshman class.

🏈 FSU to Host Cal for First-Ever Meeting on September 21 🏈

Florida State will take on Cal on Saturday, September 21st at 7 p.m. in Doak Campbell Stadium.

The game will air on either ESPN or ESPN2, with final network designation coming after Week 3 games.

This marks the first-ever meeting between FSU and Cal, as well as Cal's first game against an ACC opponent. The Golden Bears come into the game 2-0, while the Seminoles are seeking their first win of the season after an 0-2 start.

🏈 FSU Running Back Jaylin Lucas Out for the Season 🏈

Florida State junior running back Jaylin Lucas has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to an injury sustained against Boston College.

Head Coach Mike Norvell confirmed the news and shared that Lucas has a redshirt year available, preserving his eligibility.

Despite the team's 0-2 start, Lucas had been a bright spot, contributing as both a back and a receiver with 39 receiving yards and 13 rushing yards.

His absence leaves a significant gap in FSU's offensive and special teams plans.

📋 FSU Releases Depth Chart Ahead of Memphis Matchup 📋

Florida State football revealed its depth chart for the upcoming game against Memphis.

Notably, DJ Uiagalelei remains the starting quarterback despite recent struggles. Freshman Hykeem Williams, back from injury, is listed as a backup wide receiver.

With Jaylin Lucas out for the season, several true freshmen, including Micahi Danzy and Lawayne McCoy, have stepped into key roles.
